In his interview with TenTonHammer that was posted just a few hours ago, CCP Soundwave officially announced that minerals will be removed from Drone NPCs because "Gunmining is bad" and "it fucks over mining".

This is no longer market speculation.

The price of high-end minerals is going up and staying up.

Check the Zyd price. It is started not with interview of Sondwave, but with CSM doc approx 2 weeks ago.
