So are ONLY fanfest attendees getting in the Dust beta next month?

Something else for you to cry about: I got the first public non-ccp kill in Dust, in the entire world.

We traveled half way around the world, spent thousands of dollars (american) to get there and be there, waited in lines, waited in queues, subjected ourselves to plane food, taxi drivers that only spoke English badly or in accents that made them hard to understand, waited in line at Harpa, fought to be in the first group to play Dust, sat down in the uncomfortable chairs, dealt with the loading screen saying "Soon(tm)" to everything, spawed.. and the first thing I did was pull out a sniper rifle and headshot a guy as he spawned. He was dead before he touched the ground.


Sucks to be him.

What they said was beta starts in April and they slowly open up beta more and more up to June. They never gave timeline on how long beta is actually going to be, unless there was something on the internet about it I missed. And last I checked, it is forbidden to buy one with ISK as per this link.

If CCP ever intend to move dust514 on to the ps4 platform it will be doomed as many people wont even bother getting consoles anymore.

Ohh poopy =( but good to know, as I was advising people sell unwanted keys, whoops.


And I heard that closed portion of beta would be a month or so, but yea nothings a given, it'll be open beta soon(tm)

it's really the only thing i'm so frustrated with. they're staying so tight lipped about everything that they can't even give us a timeline.
