The Hair of a Capsuleer

When I'm out abducting damsels in distress, kidnapping Republic citizens or hanging out with my acquaintances in Curse, I often think about my hair. I go to great lengths to keep my hair as great as it is in my pilot portrait. I always make sure to have a comb in my pocket just in case my hair should ever get frizzy. I think of my hair as an extension of me. Without my hair, I am nothing.

How do you like your hair? Bald? Pompadour? Dreadlocks?

Any facial hair? Or sunglasses to complement your hair? When addressing your peers, do you take your hair into account as a means of conveying your attitude towards things? As you can see this is a very hairy topic.

It concerns me that this is considered important enough for the IGS.

I like my Mohawk, I don't really do anything with it, just sort of brush it to the sides.

The IGS was getting a bit hairy with all the threads about Ston. Indeed, I was a hair's width away from saying something untoward. I'm glad to hair someone talk about something other than Ston though.

I like ponytails and loose hair. Also floppy mohawks.

Such a wiry pelt of puns, Miss Oniseki.

I tend to like my hair short and free. I've never liked putting too much of anything in my hair, even if that means it sometimes looks a little frizzy or wild.

As for hair on someone else, well I'm not too picky. It's more important that they like their own hair and feel it suits them. Though clean hair is a must... I've seen so many long haired men (and some women) that quite simply do not know how to care for longer hair.

All the puns are taken so just an answer.

Floppy mowhawks all the way. Though I do like ponytails and loose hair too.

The hirsute man in Khanid culture is the virile man. Long, flowing manes recall the noble lion who is symbolic of the warrior culture. I think the ideal hairstyle on males is long and lustrous.

As for women, I admire longer locks, whether tied back in a neat bun to expose the gentle, mysterious curves of a woman's neck, or loosely flowing over the shoulders and smelling ever so faintly of cinnamon and sunshine.

As for Mohawks, they are like tattoos, in my opinion. Only for bogans, pirates and Matari.

Kidnapping Republic citizens, eh? If we ever catch you what your hair looks like will be the least of your worries. When your head is floating in a jar like one of those recycled Sansha code-breaking devices it really won't matter.

When the world is running down, you make the best of what's still around.

For the longest time I had enjoyed having long hair, but since the new laws I had to have it cut or risk loosing my pilot license. Straight and long black hair while sporting a goatee was how I went. Mainly because I never enjoyed always getting haircuts... like I have to now. And becuase I never liked to worry about regulations. The nice thing is Galnet still has logs of my old self... at least I still don't have to worry about military haircuts.

The ideal woman, I usually like to have long hair... or in a ponytail or something. And yes... for both genders, clean hair is a must. Otherwise it starts to stink and then things go downhill from there.

My constant need for clones with this hairstyle has actually led me to hire a hairdresser to attend to my cloning vat. It's a full time job.

As a simple soldier, I shaved it close to the scalp. Though, truth be told I had little say in the matter. Wore it that way for years. Its simple and easy.

Once I truly Returned and joined my clan, I grew my hair out and braided it in dreadlocks, in adult fashion. Long, free locks are for callow, unblooded youth and young women seeking a husband.

As for sunglasses, well, I stopped wearing my Brutor aviators when seemingly every Outsider picked up on the fashion trend and started taking their piloting license pics while wearing a pair. They're so 111.

I prefer my hair shorter, as a pilot. For me, decanting from a pod, washing and stylizing hair is far too much effort. As things are, a quick shower and I can be to work or play in very short order.

Wait, Gottii. One is supposed to wait until they're an adult to braid their hair into dreadlocks? I ask because...well...look at my face! Heh.

I hair we're talking about stylistic choices? I wouldn't be coiffed dead talking about such things. I mane, getting locked into that sort of conversation? What do I look like, a pompadour?

Incidentally, I'm high on painkillers right now.

Of course not, I imagine you'd look quite the gentlemen if you were to style your hair in that way. Make it so.

Huh ? What is the usual age to become an adult in the Matari society ?
