Democracy is all about representation. Seems pretty fair that the largest alliance in all of eve is also the the greatest represented!

Im sure the high-sec carebears could achieve a similar amount of votes if they were as organised as the goons, Ha, like thats ever gonna happen! Lol

Post with your main, like a BOSS!

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

Probably the whole point of organizations. These high-sec pubbies are already organized in a sense. They're automatically in NPC corporations. The problem is they just don't plain care.

Just wait. Next year, the NPC forum posting alts (who have no opinions that anyone cares about) will rise against the evil The Mittani and thwart him!

Just wait and see!

So he won, did you expect anything else with the way the voting is?

Does not really matter who it is as long as they do a good job (or at least attempt to).

So when did the Goons manifesto of destroying the games they choose to participate in change?

This isn't the only game I've seen them in. They played WWII Online for a while too back in the day...and in that game all they did was screw up everyone's ops...they played both sides in order to achieve this. Same thing with Eve back 4-5 years ago...they said flat out their intent was to wreck the game. Were these the same groups of folks we see today in the Goons?

Did they go respectable, or are we still looking at the same basic premise? Maybe a Goon can enlighten me?

The ice interdiction seemed like the same kinda crap on the surface.

Just what is the current Goon plan with regard to EvE Online?

Goons create content for Eve Online for each other. That's what we exist here to do. We take this gigantic sandbox and make it fun, albeit often at the expense of the other players.

Right now, we don't want Eve to die, because you can't get that experience anywhere else.

We could always hope there's some breakdown on "Alliance X voted like this" stats released. And more detailed "age" stats, seeing as there was a lot of "new" pilots voting.

I do not think Mittani won the election. It is Goons (and friends) that won it. Goons and their friends achieve all the goals they set for themselves and it pisses off everyone because they cannot do it as Goons do it. Goons dominates this game and its normal that a lot of of people cry all over the forums about it. Goerge W Bush said it after 9-11. "Why do people hate us so much??...because we are so great!! "

It is true that most people will always be jealous of others success. It has always been like this and always will. Stop whining about Goons are this and that...they are on top of the game and provide more entertainment in the Eve universe then any other alliance. I trust Mittens with is good ideas and vision will improve the game in a big way. People should be happy of is re-election and the great influence the people supporting him have on the game.

Sounds arrogant to me, which is generally more of a reason to dislike someone than how successful they are.

The point is most people don't dislike people because they're successful, but people do tend to dislike the ones that are arrogant about it.

Man, Goons, you should have pulled the ultimate troll and voted in someone else...without letting Mittens know.

Just image his face when the votes came in and he wasn't re-elected Lol.

//Unreasonableness

How is it not surprising that Goons voted for Mittens, I mean after all Mittens IS Goons.
