I'm proud to announce that the Crime Spree has begun as of about an hour ago! Did this need it's own topic? Probably not!

Get your work started, remember to pastebin those tears! If anyone wants to join the free-suicide-dessie's party we're 3j from Jita and just setting up now!

No kb set up for this yet, because I got distracted with other drama.

You can also find me in the channel 'Crime Spree'.

Oh yeah - New Thread - Good chance to get rid of the overwhelming number of posts laughing at your premise of declaring war on hisec to chase all newbs out of the game and bankrupt CCP because you think CCP made it too hard for you to prey on newbs - and as you guys kept saying, you can't go to low or nulla because you get blobbed or picked off by superior skills.

Creme de la crime spree. "For example, if you are thinking about selling a Republic Fleet Firetail as a regular Firetail, be sure that the market volume is high on regular Firetails and that there are plenty of buy/sell contracts for Republic Fleet Firetails. [...] The players most interested in Republic Fleet Firetails are going to be players flying regular ones." -- PB

Your dork giving advice on how to scam firetails needs to change his advice from trying to pass off "a Republic Fleet Firetail as a regular Firetail" - great advice.

Now go and edit that and then deny it ever happened - pitiful jerks... totally, The Gang That Couldn't Think Straight

Your code is so sophisticated - No one would ever know you are referring to the Reverse Safari corp where you fleeted up and invited someone to join and then told them you needed them to mount a shield Xnfer or cap Xnfr and then fed them aggro so your buds 100 clicks off would warp in and gank the poor fool who was dumbe enough to fleet with you and cap chain at a planet.

you are so boringly predictable....

but hey, it woorked on a lot fools before, probably will now. You are such skilled pilots!!!

You're mixing up several different flavours of gank. A safari is the name of a type of gank. A reverse safari equally so. The corporation is named after the act. Neither of these require cap or shield xfers.

Also, you can't warp from 100km.

Additionally also, it makes me warm and fuzzy that someone got mad enough to bother to learn the name of the corp we usually use for that. Although it tells me that it's probably time to make a new one.

And, finally, as a corollary, your face.

Now that Crime Spree has started, I'll pose this to Skunkworks.

It would be pretty entertaining to apply the Boomerang to Freighter ganking.

Say, 15 Tornados staged in a busy trade system like Sivala, or Uedama.

Screen targets, as usual, pounce on a worthy target, instapop it.

THEN: all Tornados warp to a SECOND gate, and pop a random freighter there, getting a 2 for 1 deal on freighters.
Then, warp to another gate, and pop a random freighter there....

In my experience, even Gank-fit Tornados can survive gate-gun fire long enough to pull this off, especially when the fire is split between so many targets. Also, 0.5 systems seem to be more forgiving with regards towards warping off.

In busy 0.5 junction systems like Uedama, finding random targets shouldn't be a problem either as long as there is someone at the gate to name the target so fire is coordinated.

Imagine getting multiple freighters for one (relatively) cheep fleet of Tornados?

If you think we can find enough Tornado/Arty capable pilots to try this, I'll haul the Tornados and mods into position. Twisted

oh sorry, typo - "150 clicks off

BTW, has the Crime Flea actually bitten anything yet

You might not be so flattered by my interest in people like you after you learn that my area of study concerning the human condition is to study those who embrace failure as a lifestyle

As humans, we spend our entire lives learning something, even though many think they have learned everything or everything they need to know, their resistance to learning is futile. It is what those who embrace failure are learning which differs from the others around them who are being exposed to pretty much the same life conditions and stimuli that interests me

An unmistakable rule of nature is that behavior rewarded will be repeated. It is one's perception of a reward which keeps some stuck in choosing options which lead to repeated failures that I like to study. For instance, the child who continues to act out while being given what others would see as negative responses, continues to act out, because the negative responses are just the cost of doing business as they reap the rewards of peer acceptance among the peer group they most want to impress

Lets just let the killboards do the talking.

24 Macks, 1 Hulk, 5 pods. One evening....so far, still lining up more kills as we speak. (you know, GCCs and all)

Made full use of the Tornado Boomerang, and even got a nice 4 for 1 kill in Tolle. (Two of them tanked)
Best of all, I was able to save nearly ALL my mods, by dumping them into the Orca! (all 8x T2 Heavy Howitzers, 4x Gyrostab IIs, and 2 T2 Tracking Computers.)

Really, Its SOOOO nice that Orcas have a convenient fitting service. It even works while your ship is being torn to shreds! (I wish I got that kind of service from CCP on my bot reports/petitions - but I guess you can't have everything. I mean, its only been 4-5 months now, those bots are now old enough to have cheater babies of their own.)

So....I lost a 45 M Tornado hull. (built off BPO) CCP's policy of evasion is satisfied and me no get banhammered.

Those four wrecks dropped 5 T2 Armor plates + other stuff, and a sadly, only 2x T2 Harvesters. Worth about, 95M.

So....I ended up dealing about 600M in damage to stupid miners. I get 4 kill mails.
I lose a single Tornado.....and earn about 50M ISK.

Oh, yeah, tears in local from the guy that lost his fleet.

[03:59:09] MasterWDL > ******* BS!

No, just music to my ears, and sweet, sweet profit for me.

PS. Total is now 25 Macks, 1 Hulk, 5 Pods.

CCP, what we really need is to reduce the GCC from 15 to 5 minutes, so I can get into the zone faster instead of having to waste time reading the forums between ganks...add that to your stupid Crimewatch list. Roll

Oops.
Now its 26 Macks, 1 Hulk and 6 Pods. (nice implants too, too bad the hardwires don't show anymore because of stupid renaming.)

Its nice that I had some warning, just enough time to get my logistics/industrial tail switched over to T2 Light Blasters, T2 Howies, Tornados and Cats. Oh, and of course, new Macks and Hulks for the miners........

Edit: Damn, Sam....

28.....2 for 1 with a Tornado. Sadly, no other targets in the belt, but managed to save all but 3 mods. (2x SEBOs and 1x TC)

.....and 31, plus one more 90M pod. Right before DT.

So my score, on Day 1 of the Crime Spree:

Carebears: - 5.1 Billion ISK.
Me: +480 Million (after expenses)

Not bad for one evening's work.
