If you're the type who likes doing incursions or missions or trading or mining/industry, then when Plex costs 1B, you'll be making more too (might not be proportional, but it will increase). And since it's what you like to do, it will be no biggie if you have to do a little bit more.
But if you hate doing these things and only do them in order to pay for your PVP lifestyle, then you'll be sad and will either pony up the $real or leave the game.

It depends on the purchasing power of a bil for me. If a bil is still enough for a carrier I'd probably be inclined to pay for my sub in cash. If carriers are going for 2 bil due to inflation I should be making proportionately more on my own so it's a wash and I'd play on billion isk PLEX, yes.

It's not an ingame imbalance as such. If demand outstrips supply then the price goes up.

Seems people are moaning about incursions because it seems more people can buy PLEX with ISK to fund their accounts than before incursions were introduced.

Guess I should spill the beans, since I won't be able to run Incursions much anymore due to RL, and all my Incursion buddies are now worth a minimum of 10 Trillion each.

See, it was a well-kept secret that CCP got so pissed of with all the whiny brats who blamed the intelligent Incursion runners (the ones who optimized their fleet composition and demanded excellence from their pilots) for everything that was wrong with the game, that CCP handed the well run Incursion fleets Jovian technology ships.

I personally fly an Jovian Inty that aligns in 0.1 seconds, warps at 60 AU/sec, has a tank of 100K and does 1000 DPS at 100km.
But CCP made us promise to only use them in high sec Vanguard Incursions, and keep quiet about them.

But because I am the prototypical Incursion runner (you know, the sociopathic, greedy, elitist type), I am spilling the beans and spoiling it for all that still use the Jovian ships. I expect CCP will be removing mine from my hangar once they read this post.

In fact, I feel so guilty about it, I think that CCP should remove all ISK-based payouts from Incursions, so they become a total cash sink.
I am also going to give away my 20 Trillion that I have made from Incursions in the past year. Just send me any amount over 1 million as a gesture of good faith, and I will send you 10 times the amount back.

any more would require me to grind more than I pvp, which is not gonna happen. period.

obv I dumped a few accounts when they destroyed pi as a viable independant enterprise.

but since I no longer have the 2bn + a month coming in from that and incursions are horrible, not sure if anoms will cut it much longer tbh.
