I am going to be finishing off my Recon 5 in the next round of skills and will be able to use Amarr and Gallente @ cruiser 5.

I would of course be the tackler with the BC flying in right after. Looking for some advice on which Recon to use and which BC would do the most damage at 25km or so (since I think the recons can knock the targeting range down to 18km?). If anyone has fits for your suggestions it would be much appreciated as well.

As always, thanks in advance.

Edit: The only damage coming from the Recon would be t2 drones.

Be sure to use civilian hobgoblins to get the highest damage output. Blink

I could throw on 3 tech 2 rails for a devastating 40 dps or so.... Hence the full tackler/support fit instead of wasting highs on **** poor dmg.

That was assuming Gallente.

For pure tackle, use an Arazu or Lachesis as they get delicious point range bonuses. The Lachesis can even supplement the damage a bit with its drones/missiles/rails. However, if you point them from far away, they are still pretty free to move, and possibly get up close and destroy your Tier 3. The solution would be to use a Curse instead, which can immobilize enemies with neuts from 30 km at Recon Ships V.

For damage, use a Talos with neutron blasters (possibly loaded with Null depending on your range). 25 km is still pretty short, and the Talos has the best chance for great damage because of its tracking bonus.
