I use the default settings, vert sync on, no AA, no HDR, textures at max, no CQ.

Anyone know good mid-price laptop that can run EVE with 60 FPS with those settings?

I don't mean 60 FPS in fleet warfare, I don't do that, I just fool around mostly by myself.

My lappy has an HD 5650 GPU, and can handle all that. Maybe a bit more, too.
Aim around that range of GPU. Higher, now, because that model is a year+ old.

I can't recommend the notebook as a whole, however. The HP Pavilion dv6 3006-tx has absurd heat sink dust clogging problems, which caused heat to destroy the insides of the battery. Cleaning the dust is incredibly painful, and requires a full-on disassembly. Happily, a superior battery replacement was found.

If this notebook is your main EVE machine, I HIGHLY recommend hooking it up to a monitor, or having a high resolution. Anything higher than 1366x768 should suffice.

Also, vsync only matters if you're getting over 60fps, and notice tearing Smile
