question about invention

i was wandering if reserch has any impact on invention ?
lets say i hafe ammo bpo . not reserched and then another one of that same lets say 100 me and 100 pe
does the reserch matter when i use a copy from them at all ?

This. Research is completely ignored when inventing. The only thing that matters on the BPC are the BPC itself (what item it's for) and the number of runs remaining. That's it.

Only reason to have a researched bpo, when using it for invention, is for manufacturing parts for use in the final construction (Not for ammo. Modules often need the tech one version though)

Only manufacture if:
A: it's massively overpriced on the market.
B: If you have a free slot, that you don't have anything to fill it with.

If you can produce the BPC fast enough to keep all your manufacturing slots hard at work, then do so. The isk/h is generally far in advance of what you can get with a T1 BPO
