Can't quite get my head around it

Right the concept of Dust is we are going to have loads of PVPers running round on planet fighting for possible sov influence while massive battles go on overhead bombarding the planet from orbit.

Sounds like great fun frankly .... though technically difficult I would imagine 2 seperate client types interacting with TQ in realtime to co-ordinate all this.

Now this is where I'm stumped I'm afraid, Tidi, this new tech literaly slows the time of some nodes..... so tell me how in the world do you sync 2 seperate inputs to 1 world that are not time synchronus.

Just asking, hopefully CCP have considered this and have the problem in hand, I would be intereted how they intend to solve this conundrum though.

Going to guess it is more of a "deploy planet bomb device" and then launch it/fire it. The tidi won't matter so much once you click the fire button. I'm doubting that you'll target anything with your ship that is on the ground. Could be wrong of course. :)

wouldn't this be extremely annoying for the fps dusties to have a coffe between each shot ?

on the other hand ... a headshot in slow motion Cool
or you see the bullet coming for a few seconds and you know you can't do anything about it Shocked

How does that work then the cooldowns of the ships are going to be varible dependant upon tidi influence basically affectin DPS directly

1 bomard per min normal

1 every 10 if space aboove you is tidi'd

??????

Are you trying to refer to planet bombardment? Since when has 90% of any of the videos from CCP ever shown stuff that actually happens in game?

Everything really how do you influence the sov of a system in realtime if your realtime ain't the same.

How do you land reinforcment's if the 10 min trip from gate to planet suddenly takes 10* longer now.

It's a stupid idea. It was ginned-up by stupid people caught in the euphoria of imagined success with other endeavors.
