Hi, I made another ridiculously quick video:

Ships flown: Tempest, Drake, Claymore, Hurricane

So this is like a sequel to Interlude, or in the same vein anyway - just a quick offload of fraps. While Interlude was all cool and gallente-y, this is all grungy and minmatar-y Twisted. The fights are basically only from the past week. Also, if you watch the BSB commentary channel, you will have seen the first fight already! Sorry!

This certainly doesn't hold a candle to the recent masterpieces in this subforum, but it's not really meant to - all the footage is casual solo without implants or alt accounts, and it all happens in 0.0. My main mission here is to show that it's still possible and fun to get this kind of pvp. Also, I actually played to the 'strength' of single account solo in these fights - there's a ton of system hopping and manipulation across multiple jumps, something that gets more and more difficult the more alts you have with you. Lol

Anyway, hope you enjoy...

Kovorix, mate. I suspect your link to the video might be too long. It's not showing. Maybe try a tiny url link?

I had the same problem on the CSM podcast thread that I had over in Jita Park Speaker's corner. It was a result of too long of a link.

lol, nice stuff.

These dudes clearly have no clue what PvP Golem is all about. It's a beast, unless faced with ECM (happens all the time, though). Wasting precious low-slots on a stab or two? Meh Ugh

I hope you managed to get that loot to your basing system, didn't you?

Haha part of the tension for me was that it was still in my hold when i fought the 2 drakes, but yes it made it back safely. Thanks guys!

Must say I loved it.

I'd be perfectly content with you PvP gods releasing short little vids like this every couple of weeks to feed my addiciton :P

Kills me waiting months for hour long masterpieces..

So gutted the golem was stabbed though, one can only imagine how much more shiny loot you would have escaped with if it hadn't been.

I don't know wtf you are talking about "doesn't hold a candle to the recent masterpieces". For me, the quality of a video is determined mainly by how interesting and dynamic the fights are and how well and creatively the pilot flys. This video delivered that in spades, even despite its short length. When that myrm snuck up on you and you then burnt away and maintained range at 13km while popping drones, well it was brilliant and something that had not crossed my mind at all. Definitely one I will rewatch quite a few times over the coming months.

Also I've been playing around with Claymore fits in EFT since we talked and I think I like (further reinforced by this video) the dual cap booster Claymore more than the DG LSB variety. Imo the bigger tank, more neut resistance due to dual cap boosters and the ecm drone popping ability of rockets more than makes up for the loss of DPS. Ofc this is all theory-crafted and I have never actually flown a Claymore lol.

Great vid. Short but full of content. Bit slower maybe? But it would probably wouldnt sync with the music nicely :)
