No Gas Planet Textures...

On my client "EVE Online 2" I don't have any textures for gas planets.

On my client "EVE Online 3" they look wonderful.


How can I restore them on the first client?


What I've done...
I have cleared the cache.
I have installed the current versions on both clients.


Any help?


System specs:
iMac 27" 2.8 GHz Intel Core i5
4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Mac OS X 10.6.8

I do not have multiple EVE clients installed, but I have the exact same problem on a newer 21'' iMac

2.8 GHz Intel Core i7
8GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Mac OS X 10.7.3 Lion

Every other planet is fine, but gas planets specifically are pitch black with no shading at all.

Same... 27" iMac. I haven't seen any textures since getting it.

Try changing the shader quality.

I have this same problem with gas planets just displaying as a grey sphere. When I change settings to bring back the gas planet textures the starfield disappears... I've chosen the stars over colorful planets for now.

Ive had this problem since the 1.1 patch. However, all of my planet types are affected.
