It's easier to sort by item name or type, the same way as in game, and see the line colors.
As for which price is better, it's hard to say, that depends on your strategy and purpose. Just check which suits you more.

I'm having problems with the prices of the modules and minerals. I have tested all the option in EveRefinery and none of the options are similar with the prices at EVECentral and EVEMarketdata.

I'm doing something wrong? Or the program is not updating correctly the prices from eve-central?

I'm using eve-central only. Double-check that you set the correct region and price type. If you're sure something's wrong, please provide specific details..

Nice program, I have been wanting to make one myself (i've been using a spreadsheet for it) but your program has the basic stuff to look for: manual entry of mineral prices, combined mineral price and item location parsing. I have never used the prices from the usual 3rd party sources, because I feel that it gets outdated fast. Instead I run EvE in a window, with the EveRefineryUpdater beside it and I pass thru all my loot for all items that I can sell (rightclick, sell, compare, decide, save special/underpriced items). After that all I have left will be the items that will be reprocessed.

Is there a way to get bigger fonts? Or to turn off all of the row markings/colors? **edit** Can I place a flag on specific items (like a checkmark or 'star')?

Last thing - I hope the manual entry of the minerals would be organized so that it reflected how the EvE market displays it. It is listed like this:

Isogen
Megacyte
Mexallon
Morphite
Noxcium
Pyerite
Tritanium
Zydrine

...and the way you arranged it looks like you based it with the most common thru rarest (or according to price). My first spreadsheet also listed it that way but after so many times manually updating it, I remade it to match how EvE displays it. But really, its just a small thing.

Why manually update mineral prices? Because oftentimes I choose where to sell my minerals, which is sometimes not the highest (top) price. Sometimes it will be on another nearby station, or the one that will take enough quantity.

I'm just a newb so let me get my bearings first and I'll send over a package for you as thanks.

I have read your request. However, I'm just too lazy and the features you request are outside the typical use and are minor. That said, I'm giving no promises. Maybe I'll implement these when I'm in mood. Sorry.

What am I missing here?

Why wont the program update whats in my hangers and assets more frequently

7 hours between updates?

Your kidding right?

I must be missing something.

???

Wales

ANSWERED I found it in the source code for the message box message that CCP only allows updates every 7 hours

But i have another question, why won't the program store the skill values and efficiencies? Every time open settings and choose calc, all of the settings are set back to zero

???

The calculated efficiency is saved. I didn't feel the need to save the components.

Can this program select the contents of containers?

Is there a break down of what all the columns mean in the Eve Refinery tool? Like Meta and Delta and so forth? Thanks.

Ok if you are using eve central it's not updating right. got this eve-central.com/home/quicklook.html?typeid=5089 off eve central, about 10k ISK each or so, the program is telling me the 3 of them are worth 1.3 mil huge difference. ><

hm thats with default settings, figured out whats screwing it up is a few random people that are way over pricing the items, anyways to program it to grab the average price thing at the top of the even central page, won't be exact, but better estimate.

Problem: Every time I try to Start the program, I keep getting that the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).

I have read the posts and re installed in, put in in a different folder, installed .NET 3.5 and 4.5, ran it in both administrator and in compatibility mode but I still get the same error message. Any suggestions to get the program to start?

Hello there!

First off:: AWESOME Program.

Allright, here is my problem: the program won't import my assets for some reason. Well, it says it does, but then I go to a specific station I have loot in, and it only shows 1 item (Hammerhead II, for some reason). It looks like it works perfectly for NPC Stations, but not Player-owned Stations (Outposts).

The API is the one suggested (https://support.eveonline.com/Pages/Login.aspx?ReturnUrl=%2fapi%2fkey%2fcreatepredefined%2f2), and its set to 'infinity' (no expiration). I wonder what I'm doing wrong.

Is there a limitation to the program? Am I doing something wrong? I'm eager to hear your answers...

Yllej.

I just wanted to give people a head up. A couple people in my public channel downloaded this software and all had trojans with in a couple of hours. Speaking for myself this is the only software I downloaded that day. I had run a sweep the night before and nothing had been found.

I made sure that the detection update had not come in that day, and found that it had been installed over a week before. But again, I can't say for sure that this software was the cause, but several of us got it and the only thing that we all did in common was download this software. This was the name of the trojan (trojan/gen-rbot)

Always remember that WHERE you download from is almost as important as WHAT you are downloading.

Yes which is why verified the webpage with eveolpedia and and the forums as well. So it's not someone repost the software with a virus. But just put it up to a lesson learned.

Could you make search from 'edit widget' or, when keys pressed, cursor sets to typed position?

seriously? you need a program that teaches you to look up market details in-game and make your own choices to refine or sell? besides that if it says it's a virus it's a virus, even if doesn't screw up your computer, poor programming = security holes that leads to viral infection

Care to share your source? I didn't notice a link to any public repos or anything.

[Edit] I found it on source forge =)

My subscription is expiring, and I'm not going to extend it due to the lack of interest. Still, I'm going to keep at least the database up to date. Whatever requests should be sent to email, as without subscription, I won't be able to use forums as well.
