I wish CCP would bring back the "Patch Links" so those who still rely on patching manually to play can do it without the loss of valuable time. And CCP Releasing a patch daily is becoming irritating without this option. I have never had problems with EVE until the launcher came out, now its just a headache.

Thank you @ those that take the time to help other players out under these circumstances and allowing us to play EVE.

This being said I now have to wait for someone to upload the 356445-356901 Patch ... Where CCP "SHOULD" have it accessible not ONLY by the launcher where it does me no good at all... So far manual Patch is the only way I can play EVE...

this works for me if you have

1. roll back issues
2. launcher say patch done. but eve does not start

(secondary steps ) dont do this first.
a. clear bulk data
b. clear C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\CCP ... this cache

primary steps --> do this first
a. stop antivirus
b. stop firewall (optional)
c. run repair
d. repair returns error (block missing **** etc)
e. open C:\EVE\bin ... run EVEFILE.EXE ... says error? GOTO step C .... runs? ok then bingo

how many repair runs did i do to get this to work?

some patches require 30-40 runs. some patches just 4 runs.
1 of the patch, 1 launcher run did it all. but 95% of data stream from CCP to my EVE folder just doesnt seem to update EVE very well.

if you all noticed, anything that evefile downloads works well, launcher downloads good, but not perfect (n if it breaks it does not self repair), repair is just hit n miss, u need to rerun many times to fully "heal" ur client

my take is

main game server streams data perfectly

the launcher connects NOT to the main stream server

the repair.exe gets its data from a far worse source
