Hello, Capsuleers! As you may be aware, The Guild of Collegious Investors is fairly new to the grand universe of EVE, but that doesn't mean we are any less generous. Sure, our group encountered the usual "SCAM! It's a Scam!" comment here and there, but there isn't a single corp that requires the trust of it's investors to operate. With that, I would like to give a big thanks to everyone who helped us reach our first goal of 1,000,000,000 in investments. We are proud to say that every penny has been returned, to even the smallest of our investors.

But we aren't here to talk about investing or anything, we are here to talk about what's important, and that's killing another guy. This is why we are throwing together our first Tournament to raise awareness for the Guild of Collegious Investors.

The goal of the tourney is to actually celebrate Crucible 1.5, and with it, the release of new Rookie Ship looks, so we figured the best way to celebrate that is to pit them against each other. For this tourney, you may only fit one of the four Rookie ships as you see fit. Please do note that Scramblers and Disrupters are not necessary, as running away automatically results in disqualification. You may spend all the time you like up until the tourney date fitting your ship, and testing it, and hell... if you want to fit an Estamel Invulnerability Field to give you that wicked edge, go for it!

THE RULES:
1. No cheating
2. Any attempts to break the rules will result in disqualification, and immediate termination of your ship
3. Have fun
4. Yes, Rules 3 and 4 are actual rules, not declarations
5. NO INTERRUPTING ANOTHER FIGHT!

The tourney will be broken up into a series of 1v1 fights, leading to a final epic confrontation of the most worthless ships in the WHOLE Universe. Each contestant will be invited into a public channel created specifically for this event, and will first take an item from the Referee's can, and then an item from each other's can. Fighting will not commence until the Referee says so, so there is no one person getting the jump on another. Again, anyone breaking the rules will be disqualified and shot... a lot... or more than likely, only once.

The Grand Prize, what you're all going to be fighting for will be 100,000,000 ISK, and the second runner up gets a solid 50,000,000 ISK. That's right! One Hundred Million Smackers for fitting four modules on a ship that already comes with Tritanium! (Note: we will not refund the Tritanium if lost.)

A full list of the current contestants will be managed and sorted as they come in, allowing us to just easily add an extra bracket to accomodate the people who apply at the last moment.

Did I say apply? Well, that was poor word choice! There is no registration fee! The only cost to you is the fitting for your ship!
