Bad idea. Half the time I launch probes, I launch just one, do a quick scan, and scoop it up. Having the launcher cycle til I have 7 probes in space would be annoying. Not to mention, I position my probes as I launch them. Piling them all up would mess up my probing method.

lol

I find it laughable that you and other players see it this way.

It's funny because I have never once had a problem with running a single cycle on any module in game.

Soo, the probe launcher is on a continuous cycle, but you only want it to launch a certain number a drones?

"Damn You!!! I will not tolerate rolling cycles!!!! I deserve to be able to launch only one probe at a time!!!!"

"Wait, what??" "Oh, so I can just click the module again and shut it off so it doesn't cycle again???"

"No!!! I will not be suckered in by easily used game mechanics!!!" "If I only want one probe, I should only have to click once!!!"

On a more serious note though, did you know that if you click on a probe and hold the shift button, then when you move your mouse cursor up and down it pulls the drones closer together or pushes them apart???

Did you also know that if you click and hold alt on a probe then you can move all the probes as one???

It's very helpful....

Ill be the first one to say that sarcasm is a splendid thing. A delivery of sarcasm with finesse is the cherry on the cake , but i dont think a good dose of sarcasm needs to be punctuated by reversing the roles of the shift and alt keys

Regardless of this, i think the 'repeating cycles' idea is a good one, and yes, 'repeated cycles' are nothing new in this game, and no-one ever found it difficult to cycle bursts of a MWD or Afterburner, or Shield booster or Armor repper etc etc etc..... blah blah blah....

So why not a probe launcher, you can already set auto reload on the launcher to 'off' [which any newb prober should have done by now] so even using a 'cycling launcher' with DSP's would pose no threat to anyones playstyle

make it so i say..
