Time trials in space! Yeah, it would be cool to set up the fastest ship possible and race each other like a kessel run in space with Mario Kart mechanics so we can shoot each other at the same time. Imagine the FUN!

Been done, and afaik, is at least an annual event.

But you have to do the kessel run in under 12 parsecs, who cares if it's a measure of distance. Beat it.
