I apologize if this is a repost. I was interrupted while posting this before, and it appears to not have posted (hour or so later).

I left EVE several years ago due to not having the time to play. I am currently playing the trial to try out the new features and to see if I want to come back.

I am considering reactivating my old account, but am concerned about what state I will be in. It's been several years, and I previously lived in 0.0. My previous alliance no longer exists, so I think I am going to wake up in a hostile station without the ability to use internal services, including possibly fitting a ship to sneak my way out.

Can I get CCP to move me and all of my nulsec inventory to an accessible station? Highsec would be convenient, but it can be lowsec, or at a NPC nulsec. As long as I can get to it.

Nope, if you wake up in a hostile station then in a hostile station you are. You will be able to use the fitting service, but once you undock you might not be able to dock again. You'll have to talk to the locals and either arrange for transport of your stuff, or sell your stuff to them, or even just join them.

As far as I know, CCP almost never moves stuff. Sorry.

Welcome back to Eve, though!

They will move you and the ship you are in. Anything else stays where it belongs to - in enemy hands.

I can understand that up to a certain point. Lose a station with a bunch of stuff in it? Move it all over to an alt account, have the account quit for a few months, petition to have it all moved into accessible space.

I don't think I fall into that category. Some of the stuff I want for sentimental reasons.... (I think I had a can of bodies in Delve).

Moving me and my current ship is also useful. I really don't remember where I was when I left. If still in space, probably in a covops which will not be that big of an issue to get out. Then again if in my sniper tempest, It's unlikely I will make it past any kind of camp.

Any idea how long it would take for them to move me?

And where I do appreciate comments, does any one here actually have experience in this issue? I did petition this question yesterday, I have not received any answer. I thought I would get a yes or no answer quickly, very quickly if the answer was no.

If they do move you, then this sounds like a Stuck petition. Those are usually handled in a matter of minutes (usually under 15-30 minutes).

Thanks for the welcome.

Being out of the game so long, it will be a bit difficult to quickly arrange transport. As I recall, scamming is a bit common and I am not going to have much of a known reputation. And where I will eventually join another 0.0 pvp group, I really need some practice first. Just looking at all the new content and most of the items I knew have probably been nerfed/balanced to the point that I will be little more then a noob when I come back. Maybe worse then a noob since I will be certain that I know things, and they are now wrong.

I'm not sure if they do runs out to 0.0, but you can look into the Red Frog and Black Frog hauling corporations. They are reliable.

The idea is that you found a corp, get all powerful and acquire good small to kick the current owners out.

That's not how the GMs roll. You need a lot of luck get an answer within 3 days.

Anyway, if your char was logged in space for a few years, chances are he is in highsec already. There used to be a database job that moved old stuff out of the way (some capitals made it into highsec that way).

hmmmm, that might take a few days to assemble for a returning player..... and would cost me at least 100 isk in ammo just to get a few things out.

I am not the type of person you have to motivate to go play shoot em up in 0.0. It would just be nice to have all my stuff in one place where I can play with it and relearn how to do things without traveling the galaxy to buy it all again (plus my junk).

And I really don't remember where I left stuff. It's possible that I don't have that much in 0.0. Any way to find out where stuff is (see the inventory screen) without reactivating the account first?

Just a caution: "stuck" petitions are for situations where you are in space and cannot move your spaceship due to being spawned inside an object, being jammed in some space terrain, etc. Stuck petitions are responded to very quickly, on the assumption that you are in space and risk losing assets through no fault of your own. The GMs might get a little cranky if you raise a "stuck" petition when you're not actually stuck.

One simple option is to upgrade your medical clone, ensure it is in a hisec station, and ask the locals to pod-kill you.

If you have jump clones, you should be able to clone-jump out (leaving the recovery of the clone in hostile space as an exercise for the reader).

As for all your stuff, one option is to leave it there. It can't be any safer than somewhere where even you can't get it Big smile

You could create a courier contract to have one of the local denizens ship the stuff out to a station you do have access to. Set a decently high collateral and make it worth their while of course, otherwise you might find they pay the collateral, take your shipment, and then just destroy it (or pillage it for their own purposes).

You could go forth and see if the 5 day thing is still available. Check the account page.

And a final update

I used the web site to create a petition. In the petition I asked if I can be moved

I was told that me and what ever ship I was in could be moved. This is only done for people that have been out of the game for a long time. I have been out of the game for over 4 years

I was also told where my main was (what system/station)

On the account management web site, there is an option that allows you to activate your account for 4 hours. This feature can only be used once, and it's to try and buy an in game plex for reactivating your account

I used this feature to reactivate my account and load up a ship. Since I was in a hostile sov controlled station, I could not use the ship fitting facility. I could assembly/repackage a ship, but could not fit or refit. I was lucky enough to have a cargo expanded mammoth in station.

So after loading the ship up with all that I could fit and putting up the two battleships I had for sale, I logged out for the night. On the same petition I was on earlier, I requested to be moved to a specific station in empire.

When I got home from work the next day, I reactivated the account and everything was right in the world....

Something I noticed about the web petition (I created one selecting the billing/account, cancelled/suspended categories). CCP is a business (no kidding!!). The petition replies were all done during normal business hours based on the EVE clock. This is just something to keep in mind. The people that do the stuck petitions must be on 24 hour shifts. I did not use the stuck petition since I was in no rush and this all was done during the week (Wednesday and Thursday)
