1.5.4 Launcher Troubles

So when my launcher tried to update today I got the following exception:

I tried rebooting and running the launcher again as admin, same result.

I repooted again and tried the repair tool, resulting in

FileSyncError: Too many retries

Then I tried patching on my laptop with the exact same result :(

1. Go into your EVE client folder
2. Open the Launcher folder
3. Open the cache
4. Delete the checksum file
5. Try again

Tried this but it did not help.

I did download the new installer+payloads and reinstalled which worked.
