Great! Seems like Fanfest HD Stream (or rather the redeemable items) has finally pushed Plex over 500 Mil ISK apiece.

Apart from me not understanding how the hell this Quafe Iteron got a stable market price over 400 Mil ISK Im really not happy for 500 Mil ISK Plexes.

How do you feel about this?

Where have you been the last 6 months? It's gotten over 500 mil a few times.

F2P economics: Lots of buyers, very few sellers.

The price of any RMT item in any game anywhere is always dictated by the high-end free players. Everyone else is priced out.

Hmmm... finally someone who knows that they are talking about!

Watch the Iteron IV Quaff Ultra Ed. to drop in price this week. The T-Shirts are flooding the market and it's actually getting pretty close to parity w/ regards to price of PLEX = Iteron IV QUE + Male T-Shirt + Female T-Shirt. The market will saturate this week and people selling the Iterons and shirts are going to have a very difficult time recovering the PLEX cost of the HD stream by selling the items. However, if you think of it in terms of "hmmm... I'd pay 20-50 mil for the HD stream" than it really makes sencs to get the PLEX and buy the stream and sell the items, because in the end all it will cost you is a few mil in ISK you weren't able to recover from the item sales. Still... I'm assuming moderate HD sales this week and if more people do this than count on prices to drop even more.

As a guy who plays on PLEX, I'll also say that depending on how good the keynote is, we may see PLEX prices drop next week as people anticipating a better EvE double down on PLEX and more become available in the market. Will have to wait and see what CCP has in store. There was big dev talk around Crucible so if they deliver I would expect PLEX to drop again... but who knows. There are probably some variables I'm not considering.

People simply transfer the burden of responsibility onto the figureheads. Such is the main real pupose of politics, removal of personal responsibility and have someone be a monkey figurehead to cure all ills.

And then when it all doesn't go quite to plan again, it gives someone to blame other than themselves of course.

I feel there are are to many losers who don't have a real job and waste to much time grinding isk. 500 is to damn cheap, it needs to rise to around 1 billion, cause many players to cancel their accounts and get real jobs....then you can afford to not waste your time spending days to weeks to aquire virtual currency where it is possible to aquire real world currency in just a few hours; its easier to spend a few hours aquiring cash to buy PLEX then convert to isk so you can expend it blowing things up then it is to spend weeks to repeat the same process.

I think it quite depends. Not all money making in Eve is grinding and sometimes it even is fun. And being able to afford Plex is quite a nice thing, though with prices going up it develops a rather bitter taste.
