Am toying with opening another account with the 'Power of Two' and I currently have an alt on my account with ~7m skill points. I was wondering if I transfer this char to the new account will it still get the training speed boost you get with a new account?

Thanks in advance.

The boost is still done with the cerebral accelerator AFAIK, which means it is a consumable you can give to only one character. Also, it cannot be used on a character over 35 days old.

The accelerated training time I think you're talking about hasn't been in effect for a couple of years now. So no, you won't have at all.

1 account, one active skill training, one character gaining SP. Been that way, always.

Though you would of thought by now:

Dev1: *grips head* HERP DERP!!
Dev2: Quick, someone call a priest!
Dev1: No...that isn't necessary. Brain fart...
Dev2: Damn, must of been painful.
Dev1: Yeah....it just hit me like a nerd that fantasies are not real.
Dev2: They are not?
Dev1: What?
Dev2: What? *hoping no one noticed what he said*
Dev1: Anyway...why have we never implemented multi-account training.
Dev2: For the money, of course.
Dev1: I know that....but why not implement multi-account training, bypass that 1 time account transfer cost of moving characters to another account so we might get 30,000 additional equivilent subscription revenue, and just let the customer train 2 characters for the same price as two accounts, to ease the annoyance of multi-account billing issues.
Dev2: ****...why didn't anyone think about that? Those billing issues...are a pain in the ass.
Dev1: Yeah, but it will never work. Hilmar will brand me a heritic and vote me off the island if I even mentioned it Ugh for even thinking about it.

I imagine the majority of people with multiple characters are multiboxing with them in some capacity, so one account would not be viable for them.

Lol because introducing login restrictions based on the amount of characters your allowed to train on one account would be SOOOO HARRRDDD.. Who ever would've thought....

It's a brilliant idea that should've been implemented years ago, now with the EVE launcher in place we 'might' just be seeing it on the horizon.... But no doubt I'll be dead of old age by then.

You actually have a decent idea, but it's buried under mindless drivel.

Enjoying the rain today? ;)
