Skills for WH Space?

Hi All,

I'm currently training for a tengu, but was looking to dabble into WH space with a T2-fit drake to see how I like it.

Anybody have suggestions for skills to train that would be necessary to train to live in WH space?

And yes, I'm aware I have 0 scanning skills, was planning on making an alt with a cloak for that purpose alone.

Train those shield compensation skills to 4
,long range targetting to 4,
Advanced Weapon Upgrade to 4 ( very inportant for fitting ),
shield rigging to 4 ( reduces drawback of shield rig => sig radius penalty )
Missile proj to 4
Warp drive operation to 4 in navigation =>


optional if you have a probing alt but still highly recommended for WH

astrometrics 4 and all others astro skills to 3 at least
salvaging 4 and skill for salvaging rig ( tip : use a dessy to salvage not a noctis, and put a mwd and salvaging rig on it )


Overall, you have a pretty solid char to do wh stuff with

I assume you are a drake pilot based on your skills. (Don't bother with a Raven to start.) I'd work on the following:

1) All Missile secondary skills to 4. (or at least 3)

2) Work on your fitting skills for example you need to train weapon upgrades to 5 and get advanced weapon upgrades for fitting missiles. (The power grid helps more than you'd think and the cpu from adv upgrades is key.)

3) Get scanning skills on every character you take in the hole. A scanning alt is all well and good, but it will get blown up or stuck on the other side of a hole. Always fit a scanner on any ship you take into a hole not controlled by your corp.

4) The PI, and gas mining skills are a good money maker if you are planning on living in a hole. But you don't need them at 5. 3-4 is good. PI in wspace is very good, and the right type of gas cloud can be very valuable.

PS- I'd advise joining a corp if you want to try out wspace. Otherwise you will die a lot.....
