What does skills have to do with this plugin to control a forum access?

'Skill' - Is one of the choices in the drop down for the rules...... I assumed that you could us it to control access to groups? Or am I incorrect?

After some further testing last night - If i use the Isn't condition it will apply an alternative group to the users, I just can't seem to get the Is condition working properly.

These are features that are already included in the plugin...hence the question here!

Yeah it's the 1.30 R179 version that I'm using... although just realised there is another forum topic for that version in particular! Whoops!

Seems like a useful tool I just don't know enough about php to try and debug the nested IF statements.

Is it somehow possible to configure TEA mod such that API keys may only show a single character of the account? I have a lot of trouble with people who are totally paranoid (or maybe PL spies), and do not want to register as long as they have to show all characters on their registered account.

Only with code changes. You need to tell them to remove the tinfoil ... the voices only speak to me anyway ;)

And do you have an idea, which lines of code I would have to change?

They won‘t remove the tinfoil. Under normal circumstances I would force them to comply with our rules, but we are trying to cooperate with some other corporations, and unfortunately I am not in the position to force them.

To my mind it would be a real improvement if the SMF admin would have a configuration option with regards to single character / all characters.

Depends on exactly what version of the code you are looking at :)

Assuming you are using the last version I released of 1.3.1 (ie r179) then the 3 blocks you need to remove are 337->345, 2577->2582 and 3168->3172 ... but the actual line numbers may be different.

But in TEA.php Search for :

if ($accnt!="Account")

There should be 3 of them and just remove the whole if block.

Keep a backup just in case Lol

Then you can't ... there isn't any code in that release to look at the key mask.

Is it possible to make a .pbp version of this mod? My forum uses pbp not php so I would greatly appreciate that!
