The new IBIS Caldari ship looks great, good job on improving the polygonal simple design and really pushing it into a more modern look. Very well done, looks great.

How come the ship itself is nowhere on the market? I cant even link to it at all... I realize it's a free ship but I wanted to see what the new faction hulls look like and I can't see any rookie ships except the caldari one.

Every day in every way I improve my skills and get better.

Their are a lot of people who put their Rookie Ships on contracts for the price of a normal T1 Frigate. You can purchase the 3 others pretty cheap if you are near a trade hub. You should also be able to see their stats as well from the contract.

have you tried searching for them in contracts?

I cant even get that to work.....hmmm

Before the change, yes. Just now, no.

It is strange, I have 3 of them but I can not look up or purchase the Velator.

The odd thing is that I can create a contract but then it cannot be found via the contract search page.

So rookie ships are indeed hidden not only from the markets but from contracts.

The only way now to get a rookie ship is to ask a corp mate who is with a specific faction.

Ok, weird. I need to check it when I am in game, I thought I created a contract yesterday, I went through all the menus and it allowed me to make it. It was listed as a "multiple items" contract because I included the ship fully fitted.

Can't you just fly your pod to a station and get a rookie ship handed to you any more?

correct, but if I want to see any other faction, say gallente, minmatar or amarr there is no way currently to view those hulls unless someone else is flying them in local.

Create characters belonging to the faction you want to view the rookie ships of. Biomass yourself if you are done looking at the ships and don't want the chars around anymore.

Watch_ Fred Fred Frederation_ and stop cryptozoologist! Fight against the brutal genocide of fictional creatures across New Eden! Is that a metaphor? Probably not, but the fru-fru- people will sure love it!

Found a workaround, you can link fittings, so a corp mate just linked his fittings in chat and I was able to open the 3D model and see what it looks like.

Alternately you can export fittings from EVEHQ or battleclinic and import the fittings to view the ship.

This is daft.

You can cross-train and fly any other ship from a different race - why not rookie ships?

What does Greyscale mean about scamming? How can a rookie ship be the subject of a scam?
