I will spell this out.

One launcher giving me access to two versions of Eve . When ...

Not interested in workarounds or copying/pasting or getting advice from other players on what they did before the launcher was the only option. I want to know if CCP has thought about a very simple but necessary option when limiting out options.

I have a disk drive that I only use for Eve - that's the way I want to run the game. I want all Eve related content on that drive. Why don't you (talk to CCP here - not the player community) have the flexibility in your programming to cater for a Windows environment.

Again ...Not interested in workarounds or copying/pasting or getting advice from other players on what they did. I want to know when CCP will come out with a fix to meet my requirement

CCP?

I run two version of eve from the same drive, I just copied the EVE install folder and it was easy enough to get it to connect to Singularity.

So sorry you're too dense from playing WoW to actually be able to read the words and follow the instructions, maybe get someone who isn't a cretin to do it for ya.

I don't think anyone can actually meet your requirements to be honest, though I do recommend your parents stop you using their credit card to pay for the game.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

The very fact of how SISI is used means you will, at the very *least* have effectively a seperate install for SISI and TQ, even if it's condensed into an overarching structure..

In short, CCP have said they want you to use two installs. If you want to use SISI, you will have two installs.

Tbh, doing a copy-paste job isn't hard, nor is dropping the SISI launcher into the chosen install.

This is a feature request, not a fix, nor something that one should petition about. I would post in the Launcher feedback thread that was set up following the dev blog. You can find it here https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=75170&find=unread I am sure that the launcher team would be very happy to consider your request!

You could have just logged onto SiSi the regular way by now if you hadn't wasted so much time furiously pounding your keyboard in juvenile rage

If you want to connect to singularity all you need to do is:

1. Make a copy of your TQ install to somewhere on your machine, like your desktop
2. Create a shortcut to the eve.exe in that folder
3. Add /server:87.237.38.50 into the target shortcut like this http://wiki.eveonline.com/wikiEN/images/4/4a/Singularity_shortcut_Win7.png
4. Start your shortcut

This should take you to Singularity.

Actually most people know what she clearly wants including the devs, we're just telling her to get up off the floor, suck in that quivering lip, and do the procedure like every one else while, and I repeat, while offering a suggestion in the launcher feedback thread that has been already provided to her for courtesy sake. With the amount of whining being carried on she could have done the current procedure some 80 times over by now.

Do you smell what the Lock's cooking?

I think I see your main problem. It's that your tone and attitude would make anyone reading it want to withhold any information/help just to spite you.

Don't think that can be fixed with software. Straight

Thank you for your insight Sam

Sadly, most of the questions I ask in forums I would like to be answered by the manufacturer. The community come in and either advises me that what I actually want is y when I have stated z or derails the thread and that annoys me - hence a "perceived" attitude problem.

Guess what - I will not be changing

You can only have one browser session at the same time. And the post above answered your question, maybe you should try pulling your head out of your arse and learn to read.

you can just use 2 different browsers (1 instance of firefox, 1 instance of IE)

You know they are called community forums right? Not CCP customer relations inbox.

What you're doing is not unlike like going into a shop, and in stead of mentioning to the staff that you'd like to see the manager, you grab every single customer by the shoulders and scream into their faces that you demand to see the manager. No wonder the rest of the customers think you are a walking talking shitbox. This being EVE, those other customers will have a go at you.

edit: btw a surprising amount of people have been very nice to you, and you treat them like the manure you are yourself. You sir, are a problem.
