Launching multiple instances frequently crashes PC

Since the patcher was introduced I have serious issues when launching more than one EVE instance - there is a roughly 50/50 chance that as soon as I try and launch the second or third instance the system just does with a hard reset - this never happened before, and I used to be able to use 3 - 4 instances without any issues. To be clear - I can STILL run 3 instances, but I seem to have to wait a long time between launching instances so that it doesn't crash, and if I shutdown an instance and do not wait a few min before launching a new one it again crashes everything.

I also tried bypassing the launcher and launching eveexe file directly but same problem

If you have done this and have the same problem, then the problem is unrelated to the Launcher.

I would suggest that you run logserver.exe (can be found in the root directory of your eve install) just before you start the 4th client. When it crashes, look at logserver who will tell you where to find a crash dump. Find the crash dump, file a bug report and attach the crash dump.

I have similar problems and filed a bug report, attached windows minidump and dxdiag files. Is it possible to produce a logserver file too? I ask because if i run logserver and the System goes into hard reset no files from the logserver are stored because of the reset. Or am i looking in the wrong places? (/user/localsetttings/appdata/eve)
