It's like watching people debate which kiddie-coaster is the best in the playland side of a theme park when in over in the main park there are a half-dozen real roller coasters going twice as fast and ten times as high.

20M isk is 10-15 minutes in an anomaly on bounties alone in null sec. And that's not even in a haven or sanctum.

Get out of the shallow end of the pool and treat yourself to the rest of the game :)

In before someone else shows up saying that 10-15 minutes in an anomaly for 20m is 30 seconds of [insert insanely profitable activity] and that everyone else is a noob.

Oh my default assumption is that this is a scam, i'm just playing along in the odd chance he is genuine.

Of course it's a scam, who would come here with such naive intention "please give me plex".
Send him a bantam with 2 miners, at actual minerals price he will get enough isk for his plex soon enough.

WTF. I wasn't trolling. I was trying to be helpful without being some elitist min/max idiot. low-level minining and paying for an account with PLEX is just a laborious joke. Incursions and Level 4 missions are easily accessible to everybody even if they don't want to leave high sec and make grinding that PLEX way way easier.

Just re-read what I said without your stupid prejudices.

Spank made a valid point for once, EVE really is dying.

@OP: I will gladly sell you a plex for 280 mil plus the ore that you own. Send me your isk and contract the minerals to me and I will contact you in game within 24 hours and give you your plex. (This is obviously a scam so you shouldn't send me your isk).

What is plex at these days? 450-500 mil?

I plan on living forever.......so far, so good.

Actually, WH anomaly runners are without a doubt the ballsiest pilots in EVE. We are all noobs to them.

'just earn more money' is such a bullshit head in ass suggestion. It's not always an option for people, or they need to use that money for more important things like foor and rent rather than videogames.

OP. Even if you have used your 'hours for plex' by now. Next time you CAN afford to resub to eve you can petition CCP to reactivate your hours for plex. Just explain this situation (you used the hours for plex but found you didn't have enough ISK to buy a PLEX), They are quite understanding as long as you don't abuse the privelige.

The other option is to start a trial account and try to work up enough for a PLEX during your trial time.

Finally, while everyone is free to play as they wish. Doing pure mining is never going to make you much ISK in game and soon becomes nothing more than a chore for the majority of players. If you looked into trading, mission running, incursions or even some factional warfare then you can make ISK easier, freeing up your time to go and do something more fun like exploration or even a bit of PVP, while easily affording those monthly PLEX. There's far more to EVE than mining and I encourage everyone to play around more. You might even like it.

I'm going to agree with the part that mining is a chore and your EVE time. Can be used more wisely.

I'm not going to agree with the "people cannot afford...........bitchbitchbitch" it's 15 flipping bucks FFS. It's really not hard to look at ones IRL expenses and figure something out. If not, then pull an extra hour at work/get a better job. OR, (if you work 40/hr weeks like the average full time worker) Ask your boss/employer for the extra 0.093cents/hour. (40hrs/week x 4 weeks = 160/hrs month, $15 divided by 160 = 0.093)

-edit-
Or just do what I do, the 3 toons on this acct are almost maxed PI toons, that alone pays for both my accts with PLEX...

Nevermind your math being off (its 9.375 cents/hour) or the taxes you forgot to take out, the lunacy of asking your boss for a 10 cent / hour raise so you can play a video game is amazing.

Yeah, I meant to say $0.093.

And since when is being honest a bad thing in IRL?
If I had an employee come up to me asking for a 10cent raise to play a videogame. I'd give him that raise in a heartbeat...

Confirming that begging for handouts to play a game is a satisfactory method of dealing with such constraints.

Good point. OP; if you want to try a buddy account - send me an EVE Mail and I'll send you the invite. If you subscribe, I'll flick you the PLEX from the buddy invite so you can get your main account running again.

Confirming my full support of begging threads by addressing a single point of discussion within it. Confirming that means by your logic you believe the same.
