Forum says you did.

Sure but not for you and not for that reason...
Man, you really can't handle missing a word in a wall of text can you?

That's some epic insecurity you have there, you might want to have that looked at.

And In Other News....

Ibuypower.com has some **** reviews in hindsight... I am contemplating cancling my order within the 48 hour grace period posted on their website and looking elsewhere. Id prefer waiting longer, getting my refund and avoiding what could potentially be a massive headache.

Oh well, I guess I will see what customer service has to say to me tomorrow.

The machine I built at the start of the year still serves me well. It originally had a 2GB HD5870 VaporX Edition, but the card was utter crap so I swapped out for SLI :

Intel Core i7 980x (3.33GHz / 6 Core) @ 5.0GHz
Asus Rampage III Extreme x58 Mainboard
24GB 1600MHz Corsair Dominator Triple Channel DDR3 (1600MHz) @ 2100MHz
2x 3GB Palit GTX580
6x 1TB Samsing Spinpoint F3 (Paired in Raid 1 to create 3x 1TB Arrays)
Corsair Force F40 SDD
1200w Antec TruePower Modular PSU
Three Dell 2407WFP Ultrasharp 24" displays @ 1920x1200 (Portrait mode for 3600x1920 goodness)
Antec DarkFleet DF-85 Full Tower ATX
Corsair H70 Liquid Cooler
Corsair Dominator RAM Cooler

The SSD was bought really just to mess around with and gauge performance. I've dropped a couple of games on it over the time I've had it and in terms of price vs day to day gaming performance I've not been impressed with it at all. I'll stick with mechanical drives until it's actually worth the price buying the larger ones.

In terms of displays, if you have three and they'll sit well in portrait orientation I highly recommend it. Fantastic for gaming.

As for the Corsair closed loop water cooling systems (Hydro H50 and the larger Hydro H70), I've built over a dozen machines for people since the turn of the year, every single one of them has used one of the two. With these around there's literally no point in paying for a high end air cooler. I've not had a single issue with one of them and they're insanely easy to install (we're talking 5-10 minutes on a new build). People saying they're a bad idea don't have a clue what they're talking about, my machine is sat with a 5GHz overclock, and averages about 55-60c on full load.

What the hell are you using that requires 24 gigs of ram? The only way I can see that as justifiable is if you're using it for commercial applications... l

OK order canceled.... Whew...

For future reference always google "(Insert name) sucks" before you do anything else. Ibuypower looks like their customer service blows and they ship you half made poop on a stick.

Maingear.com however...
Mmmmm.... this could be epic win.

You're kidding right? I googled "Yo mama sucks" and oh what did I find...you should disown your mother now dude. It's really bad.

Nah, seriously. The point is you can google "anything sucks" and you will find lots of bad stuff. But, I will say there definitely is better hardware than others out there. For me, mobos are always Asus. Memory corsair, vid card PNY and one or two others, HD seagate or WD. You get the picture. And then I just don't worry about people saying it all sucks.

My most recent computer I went against my experience and bought a gigabyte mobo cuz it was cheaper. I hate the b*tch! So now I'm gonna get a Asus to replace it and turn the gigabyte into a htpc or something.

Don't ban me, bro!

And yet when I google "Maingear sucks" nothing substantial comes up....

In fact nothing but high ratings around the board and editors choice awards. I guess that means you fail again? Oh SNAP!

Did he just zing you?
Yea I think that he did...
