Soliciting additional data from customers regarding the EVE Launcher

This seems like a problem with the Launcher Updater, I'll get you a link to full Launcher install.


Can you install a fresh version of the Launcher into your EVE/launcher directory using this http://cdn1.eveonline.com/350962/EVEOnlineLauncherInstaller.exe please?

Hi, we've just reproduced this internally, and at least one problem relates to the brackets in your client path. We'll be updating the Launcher with this fix, but in the mean-time, I recommend that you move your EVE install to a different directory, and run the link I provided in this post to get a fresh Launcher.

Ok Launcher 1.09 download the entire patch from client 329614 and applied all the way to 100% then it said client ready I click on play. Opens client wich is now 7.22.344784 and then pops up "The update has been downloaded. the client will now close and the update prcess begin." You click ok and it downloads the launcher again and install it. And so the loop begins

I'd give the Repair Tool a whirl, if you haven't already. Can I take a gander at the contents of your EVE/launcher/cache/launcher.log file via Pastebin or something similar? Thanks!

Yup does not matter which exe I use eve.exe/exeFile.exe or launcher.

Client Stays on 7.22.344784 Though I would have thaught it shoule be 7.50.... or something like that.

yup just checked with friend that works and his client version is Version: 7.30.350962

Hi, can you try running Repair Tool shortcut with the following argument? --buildno=350962 (To be clear, if this gets copy-pasted around, this is the build number of TQ at the time of this posting).

I'm back from lunch and i have good news,

After running the "evepremiumpatch350962" and relocating the game folder from "C:\[]games[]\Steam\steamapps\common\eve online\" folder to "C:\eve online\", i launched the EVE Online Launcher shortcut and the launcher started the patching process, it currently is patching and displaying the percentage bar saying: "(1/3) Creating EVE-Online_344784-350962.patch: xx% Downloading xxx MB / xxx MB.
