This is the most stable version of EVE I've seen yet.

Use that on C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\CCP (or just delete C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Local\CCP)

Good luck!

I think the OP should take some time out of his busy CEO day and acquire the skill book 'fundamentals of software developement' and then train that bastard up to at least level 3.

Check the Jita market for one of those.

No need for that fella, we arnt the computer expert ceo's of a massive IT company that cant get spaceship game to work...

I call you guys dumb because you actually think that it is the responsibilty of the customer to make a program work.

It has nothing to do with IT knowledge of the user, things should just work.

It is insulting to your customers to release an update that crashes more than 0,1% of your customers systems. Wheter the user is an IT professional or a plumber. It has to do with improper testing and arrogant programming.

This just shows that you are full of **** and have absolutely no idea about anything

My only complaint is that the launcher remains active after launch taking up resources.

you can change that so it close's after the game has launched

You just sent me back a decade ... ouch .. but yah. This stuff is very complex and the possible configurations and pants on head crazy configurations it is expected to run on, equally daunting.

All software could do with 30+ more builds and rounds of fixes before it gets released, but you know what. It'll never leave QA and you'll never make money this way.

Best to do the best you can on the average configuration and start to pick away at the exceptions (like whack-a-mole).

Lets say my programmers release a new version of our website that works flawlessly on a MAC with safari but does not work on a PC with windows XP and a IE8 browser.
What you guys are saying is that i should then ask all my customers to download a different browser otherwise they can not use my website.

Maybe you should just refrain from your dumb and insulting comments and let grown up people solve this.

You are fecking arrogant and idiot on top.

You are the first incapable to ask yourself what did you do wrong so that crap doesn't work because for most of us it does.

Ho and for a guy posting his CV on a spaceships game as if that would make you more credible let me just ask you your company name so I don't buy anything from you by mistake since it seems you are always right and everyone else is wrong.

Newsflash Daphne, don't give a rats ass who you think you are. Climb back in your box and STFU.

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

oh i cant wait for the "Are you actually the CEO/CTO of a BIG internet company who 'knows' what he's doing?"-meme to show up in every thread where someone asks for help..

aaah i can already see it... a random noob creating a thread about anything like "I got disconnected at 11:00 GMT and now i cant login, what should i do?" and people just responding "Are you by any chance the CEO/CTO of a BIG internet company? Then we know where you problem is...."

btw your offensive attitude doesnt really help solving your problem, you've been pretty quick with calling people dumb and you've been reacting really offensive to everyone who actually tried to help you on the first few pages... and BTW we get that you think "its bad business if the customer has to do anything before something works" and you can stop giving us that answer. you really seem kinda stuck in your ways (i'm kinda worried it may be the same with you in your rl/business).

Anyways to actually suggest something useful. Did you ever hear of something like the repair tool? you may just want to start it and notice how everything works again afterwards... Ofc thats something YOU as a customer have to do now, so i'm not sure you'll be able to do that since we all know the customer shouldnt have to do anything...

oh and since its 3 different computers where it doesnt work and they seem to have different hardware configuration, i can only see one thing (besides their connection) that they have in common and thats YOU, so since about 99,5% of the eve population got everything running smooth on multiple machines i have to say its VERY, EXTREMELY likely that you are the problem here. This unfortunately also means, that YOU are in fact the DUMB person here. Sadly you seem to be dumber than 99,5% of the eve players and that REALLY worries me because i dont want to see your company go broke just because of their CEO being not so smart and stuck in his ways... many people could lose their job...

P.S.: We are all jealous that you got a PC thats probably the fastest available to the consumer market and you are that big shot in the business world (with your attitude? your dumb 'underlings', how you would call them, have my pity). I don't know for sure why you thought that stuff would be relevant for us or be of any interest but to me and probably a lot of other people it just looks like you wanted to show that you got that big epeen and ****... really if you have to compensate for something else go and gank some miners or go to your workplace and call everyone there dumb...

i forgot to say: please read your first post, the starting of this thread, again and then think about it if you may be the one who started with a real arrogant attitude before anyone else actually could come with their "arrogant attitude of 'our clients are doing it wrong'"

Not going to get all in the technical mojo as I am tired of fighting it atm.

Currently I have a few graphics glitches that appear time to time. They are known and will probably be fixed in a patch or two.

Besides that, launcher workes great, patching worked like a charm. No issues here on 3 completely different rigs.

Yeah I only go on the internetz for leisure time and I to have no problems, must be my lack of awesomeness and intimate computer knowledge. OP sure knows his stuff, pitty he can't launch/play eve.

It actually is the responsibility of a customer to make sure their system can use the program.

Also, instead of being a whiny twit you could have done some basic troubleshooting, like testing the EXE without the launcher and such, or checking the resources used by your computer to see if there is a bottleneck somewhere.

No qualifications here, just an irate 16 year old tired of "adults" who can't do the simplest of things and just complain.
