Ok, i don't know if this is the right forum, and be warned, this is a rant, if you don't like to watch people ranting about EVE leave now, and don't waste your time to post comments against me because i obviously won't even look at them (or i might some time come back just to see what people think of this, though unlikely), i am litterally "pissed" with the customer support, i've never seen such a bad support ever, so today at 11:30 GMT i was excited about Crucible 1.5, i started EVE, downloaded what i had to, then my client closed to a patch, my patching got stuck at 6/7th step and i can't close it or it stops responding, i have to force close it using the task manager and even then it throws a fit, i tried anything, restarting the computer, deactivating the firewall and trying again, clearing the temp folder where the patch output folder is and tried again, i used the repair tool (which crashed at around the middle), i tried it several times, and same result goes when i start the game again, i have posted a petition, and GM Retrofire responded, he asked me to do a bug report with a compressed Launcher.log file found under my EVE installation folder ( CCP\EVE\launcher\cache folder ) and closed my petition, funny thing is that i don't even have that directory in my EVE folder, neither do i have this file, YET HE IS EAGER TO CLOSE A PETITION. And note that I HAVE NOT MODIFIED OR DELETED ANYTHING IN THE EVE FOLDER! I have, through my gaming experience years, never seen a GM close a case without asking if you can do that or if it's fixed. Obviously, i told myself, no big deal! I'm just going to post another petition, well now nobody answers it, it's like they don't even take the time to read it, as if they though that was a nooblet that just double posted petitions for no apparent reason... I'm still waiting... AND in the meanwhile my training queu has most likely ran out, not to mention my game time is running out, GAME TIME I PAID FOR!, i though EVE was better then other MMO's in every aspect and i always wondered why only 300k people were playing this game, but now i see, GM's are literally "mocking" us, i remember some years back, when i used to play WoW, a game much more inferior then EVE in *almost* every aspect, when i would post a customer support ticket, i would get to talk live with a GM after 5-10 minutes and i would get my issue fixed every time, and WoW has 11 million players! Are you f****** telling me, that a game that has 11M players can handle customer support faster and better then a game that only has 300k?!
I WILL most likely leaving EVE for another MMO (probably gonna go for Black Prophecy, or even maybe SWToR), i'm NOT going to pay 20 euros per month to watch a stuck patching screen and have GM's make me waste my time on petitions without actually getting any help.

EDIT: It's ok, i managed (somehow?) to fix the patching, i am still disappointed at the customer support, and they still haven't responded, i'll just go there and close the petition.

ReEDIT: I think i found the fix, for all of you having this problem, open up the taskmanger (ctrl-alt-delete), go to processes, find ExeFile.exe, and close it, the patching should work fine after that, if not, try restarting the patching.
