“One thing is for certain: there is no stopping them; the ants will soon be here. And I for one welcome our new insect overlords. I’d like to remind them that as a trusted TV personality, I can be helpful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves.”

First come smiles, then lies. Last is gunfire.

So,

How can a small alliance overpower a bigger alliance?
If Biggest guns are nerfed...
1000 men Alliance cannot overpower 7000 men alliance... never!!

This game is not evoluting but being nerfed for goons pleasures...

Goons... you have the path clear to conquer EVE SOV...

CCP... WAKE UP!!!

That's a whole lot of crazy ranting right there.

Why exactly is this a problem?

I'm sorry that every other alliance in the game sees their allies as nothing more than expendable cannon fodder to be thrown on the guns of self interest, but its not our fault that other alliances are unable to have genuine friends who will be there when they're needed.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

Heh. Tell me the story about a bunch of ~big boys~ who were trying to pick on our friends recently and ended up trying to evac staging POSes (getting one ninjaed in the process).

Now you're suggesting goons are well organized.

Well with Collective Consciousness V and Fleet Commander V (tell me more about FC V please)... oh well I guess that's good enough.

As the universe of eve has shown over and over the super huge alliances can't last. Typically they implode due to internal strife, boredom at having no good fights and general malaise. I for one welcome our new goon overlords. Look at BOB, Atlas, and even goons 18 months ago. So please OP, sit down, shut up and go back to high sec.

@OP
To grow in numbers you might as well start by spare some isk instead of keeping it for you and only your good friends.
You cry about a shot you gave your self right between the eye, suck it up and become a better man than you are today because your shameless tears are just delicious.

The problem with comparing Goonswarm and the other Clusterfuck Coalition entities to the large alliances of the past lies in the cohesiveness or lack thereof in the entities being compared. Goonfleet comes from Something Awful; Elite Space Guild comes from 4chan; Dreddit comes from Reddit; Merch Industrial comes from Penny Arcade; and so on. We do not have pets, we do not have renters, we do not have people associated with us for whom we feel lingering disdain. The Clusterfuck Coalition is made up of entities which are each formed from communities that exist from outside of EVE. Many of us are friends, either from other games or in real life, with the people alongside whom we fly in war fleets. We have an interest in maintaining the relationships we have, and in cultivating a strong tie between our various organisations. Community-born players have a strong incentive, from being showered with free stuff on day one, to feel loyalty to the group.

EVE-born players, and the organisations they form, have no such incentive. If this or that pet of this or that alliance gets mad at the parent alliance, or if the parent alliance gets mad at the pet, the relationship is quickly and easily excised, and a new pet is found to keep the rent money coming in for the parent. Pets that aren't naive know that they're replaceable, and that they will be sacrificed as a buffer shield in the event of an invasion. Knowing this, people have no desire to feel loyal to the parent alliance, and individuals are constantly on the lookout to keep their PVP resumes up to snuff so that they can get into the next corp or alliance.

Goonswarm and the Clusterfuck Coalition do not behave like that, and do not conduct diplomacy like that. We will not fall under our own weight, for we have been far too fat for far longer than we've been wealthy in EVE for fat to suddenly be the cause of our deaths in EVE. We will sustain; we will endure; we will prevail, where others have fallen. And woe to those who would make war on our smaller allies, thinking that we will abandon them as sacrificial "pets".

Not ALL of us are from outside communities. However, we all do enjoy that feeling of community in the CFC that makes us feel like we are valued members of the team. An attack on one of us is an attack on all.

It's not just the outside EVE community. Obviously being a member of one wouldn't necessarily make you "feel" anything for a group from a different one. The CFC itself is a community. It's not just Goonwaffe newbies who show up in rifters when drakefleet is forming up, I think I saw a TEST newbie once (pretty adorable) when we were going to defend something, I don't remember what (we just got blueballed since it was a big thing).

This is the key thing where I think politics and diplomacy with the CFC are radically different than in all other alliances.

We actually live up to the solidarity we preach.

Everyone seems to think, oh my god titans suck now with half tracking and less sensor strength. Honestly, the avatar can almost alpha most BS at around 20k with okay trans and at 50k goodbye BS. Titans can hit MWD'ing cruisers and BC just fine. I can tell you they are not obsolete, now quit your whining.

Why the heck in the virtual world should a pair of dudes with enough isk coming from whatever activity Lol to buy overpowered tools for the job they were supposed to, rule over 50 other dudes with smaller tools?

Because they're smarter? -no

Because they're better skilled? -no

Because better game knowledge? -no

So why then?
My fake theory is because those are just little 5 year boys that will never grow up, and like 5 year little boys, will always want to dominate everything by whatever means or they will stop breathing until they're all red...(quit)

Suck it up, man up move on or biomass.
Why are you incapable of, or what tool in the game you are missing so that you can also have 7000 dudes with you??

Why do you have to feel yourself in some kind of holly mission against a 7000 dudes alliance?
You know there are 2 7K+ alliances and several 3 to 4.5k+ right, so where's the problem you see in this 7K one?
Can you answer me why you are not capable of having more than 1K dudes??- what's wrong with you?

Why should you need something completely game breaking and obviously overpowered to step in front of a 7K man alliance with your 1K alliance unless you have some personal issues of misplaced pride and understanding?

We've already established it's pretty dumb. The alliance 7x larger than you will probably have at least 2x, or even 5x of the completely game breaking and obviously overpowered thing that you have, and will just stomp on our face.

Besides, goons don't want to conquer eve sov, for one our logistics people suffer horribly when enemies just cascade. leaving behind lots of space that needs POSes, JB, iHub etc etc.
