Failed patch, failed clean install

Like the others, I got an Exception error. Tried the repair tool to no effect. Figured I'd delete my files and download the client from new. More errors occurred and it was suggested that I manually download the 3 files files. Over an hour later I'm ready to go. But Eve has different ideas and I get some crap about unable to read the payload file or some-such. That was earlier this afternoon some 5 hours ago.

NO EVE - unable to download the client automatically and I guess everyone is trying the manual download as it says it will take hours.

WTF is going on?

i am having similar problems, perhaps the 2nd payload is corrupt before we even download it

Oh god, I fear I will have the same problem as you, I am currently downloading the payload files as we speak, because despite the launcher appeared to install fine for me, I cannot get it to start the correct clients!
