Wrong client starting with new launcher

Ok, feel free to point and laugh afterwards! But the emorage is getting worse and worse here Twisted

So, in simple terms, the new launcher keeps starting the wrong client!


  • I have 2 accounts Eve1 & Eve2, for years I had two separate installations (silly me)
  • Now I find out I can have 1 installation and run two clients using 'Junction Points'
  • So I follow the Evelopedia instructions and setup the 2nd account that way and everything appears fine
  • I tweak my desktop shortcut for the new junction point folder etc etc


Now however, regardless of which shortcut I click, it opens the same account (Eve2) Question

The short cuts on the desktop are:
D:\games\CCP\EVE1
D:\games\CCP\EVE2

I can even double click on eve.exe in the Eve1 folder and yet it still opens the client for Eve2 (the junction Point one)

Now I am not sure if this matters - but I have always used the /end /LUA:OFF flag at the end of my shortcuts

Also, as a further aside, I assume, clicking on the hammer and screwdriver button on the launcher is meant to do something - as it doesn't!

Suggestions welcome!

This sounds odd. Maybe they changed something with the introduction of the new launcher. Although I'm not multiboxing, I just checked my game folder and there isn't any file indicating something like that.

Did your junction stuff work before? Or is this your first time trying this? Also, how did you setup the junction (there are different types appearing in different ways to programs).
