Cannot update to new launcher

For me, it is already the first update to get the launcher that fails..

It get's downloaded then want's to run and i get a box "Run as" where i could theoretically choose a user with sufficient privileges (i am running eve as an ordinary user)

Now it defaults to user name "Administrator", which doesn't exist on my computer. If i manually enter the user name of the account with admin rights and try to run I get an error message "Elevation Error: 6"

If I log into the account that has admin rights/privileges and try to update from there... i get the same "Run as" window and the program trying to log into the "Administrator" account. If I check the first checkbox and try to run as that user, i get a "requires Admin priviges..." message, which that account DOES HAVE, but the updater doesn't seem to get that.

I've got the same issue on WinVista. My workaround was to start Eve.EXE with the administrator rights (Shift+Rightclick). After this the patches ran without any problems.

No problem with Win7 for me.

It is Win7 for me.

I also tried using the manual patch that CCP Sputnik posted, which seemed to work fine (installed without problems). But trying to launch the game via Eve.exe now fails silently. No error messages, the process just disappeares from the task manager within half a second (whether run as a normal user or as an admin).

The repair tool was able to pull the missing launcher files (after i did the manual patching, which didn't fetch the launcher) and it all seems to be working fine for now...

Thanks.
