Go to your local Ice belt.. Look at all the Mackinaw's piloted by guys in noob corps that have never been in a player corp. Try to contact them and 99.9% of the time you will get a message saying "you are not allowed to contact "insert player name here".

Take it a step further and wait a little bit, watch that same pilot warp of to the station, dock up and return, go bump him around a bit locking his ship. MWD into him and bump him away.. you will almost never get a reaction from them..
Then ask your self, why shouldn't you suicide gank him with a few cheap destroyers?

Of course they always claim, "oh I just went AFK for a few mins".. yadda , yadda, yadda.. Of course they are never bots and those whom gank them are just trolls & griefers, just players that manage to warp to stations, belts and activate their mining lasers while AFK.

Having trained Ice Harvesting to 5, Ice proc to 4 and having never mined anything AFK I think I am in a position to call this out.
No matter how much people pretend to be a white knight in EVE it's an excuse to grief.

Nobody wants to log in to this video game to mine Ice. It's the extreme of all extremes in grind. Due in no small part to the Bots, I can mine dense Veld and sell the trit to get my blocks quicker than I can go out and mine the Ice for them and that's without taking in to consideration all the PI I need to do but the truth is, Ice belongs in an automated system.
