My corp went dormant, and this caused me to find a way to entertain myself in game. I got into inter-regional trade for an excuse to haul while looking for a new corporation to join. No corporation really struck me as all that fantastic, so I stayed with the dormant IOD. I think I've now thought up a way to do my trading with a partner, which will bring the social part of the game back to me. So...I'm now looking for a partner for this trade business I've started in.

So here's what I'm thinking in a nutshell, and more detailed Q&A can take place via eve mail or chat. But basically there are 3 options I thought could be beneficial to both players...

Option 1

I pair up with a station trader to buy the products I find for cheap, and they place sell orders for the product. They keep whatever profit they make, albeit probably at a lesser margin than if they found it themselves. This cut into profits is due to the product being delivered to their door step, and not having to do the leg work and research to find the product.

Requirements: Will need to fly around to the different regions to place their sell order where I found this product would be profitable.

Option 2

I pair up with someone to try to find these inter regional trades faster. Should we find a profitable opportunity, I'll purchase the goods, haul them, and sell them. 33% of the profits go to him.

Requirements:

Willingness to pilot a shuttle across vast distances in space as quickly as possible on a regular basis.
Be online most nights from 0400 Eve time to 0600 Eve time (2100 to 2300 US Central) so we can coordinate.

Option 3

I pair up with another established trader and haul all the product he purchases to his market of choice for 33% of his weekly profits. This would allow him more time to find the inter-regional trades as he wouldn't have to take the time to haul. I would do my inter-regional trading in between hauls, but hauling would then become my primary job.

Requirements:

Already an established trader
Basically someone who just needs a hauler

Option 4

Something you thought of. My goal is to work towards a close working relationship with someone, while hopefully doing more hauling than scouting.

My Hauling Capabilities:

902,000 m3 available in my Charon
Approximately 7,000 m3 in my blockade runner

Corp status does not matter. I can stay in IOD, join your corp, or we can start a new corp. It makes no difference to me. I hope to hear from someone, while keeping the flames to a minimum.
