Is that because you can't answer a question or that you like to troll. Some new people don't understand.

If some thing attacks me while i'm mining in hs can I not switch to a different ship now from a Orca. Is it REALLY that hard to answer the question becaue mostly everything being talked about is the gankers.

I think this fix may be bugged. If a ship has an aggression timer running from an encounter with a NPC Serpentis rat (for example), then it can no longer board an Orca and gets a warning that it has carried out a criminal act, which it has not as the NPC rat initially engaged the player ship. However the same ship can still dock at any station it could previously.

If the intention of the patch was to equate boarding at an SMA with station docking than that does not appear to be the case?

I dont know what people complain about, I spend days on end teaching newbes in scope how to laugh at an avoid ninjas. Todays little internet gangstas are a pitiful bunch. I had respect for em back in the days of Jihad but today, they are just soft winging an totally lacking in anything remotely related to skill.
At least back when goon hunted hulks n freighters etc highsec was worth it,t hey had brains an used them.

Seems seriously bugged -

We are now getting aggression when trying to RR our cyno pilots in lowsec. Same corp, same fleet, RR with a carrier. This is totally faulked. It was working fine a few hrs ago and may be related to our joining a new alliance that went active around the same time.

Just to throw in my tow cents, and having been up against ninjas who used an orca to swap out ships.. I think since it is CCP's game, they are allowed to do whatever they want with it. This will certainly make a lot of carebears happy. However, that being said, I agree with the Ninjas that this particular "bugfix" should have been mentioned in patch notes as well. It does seem a little underhanded and sneaky. I can only imagine the look on a ninjas face when he tried to swap ships and realized he couldn't for the first time, then followed through with several petitions about how this didn't work, only to receive the reply that it's no longer possible.

Point is, if you needed an orca with some spare ships in the first place, maybe you should learn how to fight. I've gone up against a couple ninjas at once, who had an orca, and still lost two ships, and never got a kill, because they couldn't get near me in the ship that I swapped into. It does go both ways.

It's not an abuse if the game lets you do it.

Well, that's the way of life in the hisec. Don't attack if you're not sure you can't either kill or tank whatever suprise they have up their sleeves :) I was speaking more of the wardec situation. There was a nice suggestion for assist aggro in this topic so i won't go into discussing it any further.

Aye, I saw the suggestion, it would certainly be a nice idea. I think something similar was on CCP's to do list in that assembly hall vote thing a while back too. I might see if I can find it later.

I find it clever that someone thought of a way to use a hisec mining support ship to quick swap ships for grieveing missionrunners, but I see no reason for said grievers to ***** and moan when the devs decide to close that door.
You adapted into it, now adapt out of it.
