A*mazing was produced at Channel 7 Brisbane from 1993-1996 and then at Channel 7 Perth from 1997-1998.

So clearly, the original poster is defined as a fan of an obscure Australian children's television game show -- we have the math to prove it, after all. Clearly superior to Bronies or whatever Furries are calling themselves this week, but still creepy and kinda sad.

Anyway, Figured I'd jump on the bandwagon.

Bandwagon:

The bandwagon effect is a well documented form of groupthink in behavioral science and has many applications. The general rule is that conduct or beliefs spread among people, as fads and trends clearly do, with "the probability of any individual adopting it increasing with the proportion who have already done so".[1] As more people come to believe in something, others also "hop on the bandwagon" regardless of the underlying evidence. The tendency to follow the actions or beliefs of others can occur because individuals directly prefer to conform, or because individuals derive information from others. Both explanations have been used for evidence of conformity in psychological experiments. For example, social pressure has been used to explain Asch's conformity experiments,[2] and information has been used to explain Sherif's autokinetic experiment.[3]

Day 2

1 day after from my original posting of Trabzz's startling revelation that the entire Goonswarm Frederation are being pressured into voting for The Mittani. With threats of retrabution to members of the Goonswarm things are looking bleak for the future of a democraticly elected CSM.

After this claim came to light the original argument of members of the Goonswarm was

You mean terribly bad posters getting set to read only? They can still PM their reimbursement requests.

This by it's self was a travesty against the normal freedom of political expression. When asked to provide examples of this bad posting by Trabzz, the members of Goonswarm were less than foreth comming.

But to make matters worse, at NO TIME in the last 24 hours has any member of Goonswarm Federation actually denied the claims of their fellow alliance member. They have made jokes about it, showing us all what Goonswarm truely feel about the CSM and the elections to enter it. In some casses they have actually confirmed it even as a troll, as the expression goes every lie has a shadow of truth.
Sverige Pahis wrote:

I'm sure they will now deny the claims of extortion or vote rigging just for the fact I have pointed this out or will produce a battered Trabzz with a statement about how the original post was a troll and the vote was given freely not taken forcefully. As well as the fact that no other member of Goonswarm wanted to try for CSM7 candidicy.

One member of the Goonswarm even went so far as to threaten me with the blob for bringing this to the general voters attention.

Defamation
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Defamation—also called calumny, vilification, traducement, slander (for transitory statements), and libel (for written, broadcast, or otherwise published words)—is the communication of a statement that makes a claim, expressly stated or implied to be factual, that may give an individual, business, product, group, government, or nation a negative image. This can be also any disparaging statement made by one person about another, which is communicated or published. It is usually a requirement that this claim be false and that the publication is communicated to someone other than the person defamed (the claimant).

In common law jurisdictions, slander refers to a malicious, false, and defamatory spoken statement or report, while libel refers to any other form of communication such as written words or images. Most jurisdictions allow legal actions, civil and/or criminal, to deter various kinds of defamation and retaliate against groundless criticism. Related to defamation is public disclosure of private facts, which arises where one person reveals information that is not of public concern, and the release of which would offend a reasonable person. "Unlike [with] libel, truth is not a defense for invasion of privacy."

The key to slander or in this case libel as it is written, is that it refers to malicious, false and defamatory written words or images. The word false being relevant there, as well as the fact that this matter is of the highest public concern.

Worst of all Xython compared me to a free to air Austrlian children's television game show.

The fact that The Mittani has stated "Due to the anticipated higher turnout and the new top-seven rule, I expect that most of the nullsec blocs will only run one candidate for CSM7, where three (GSF, the Northern Coalition, and XIX) managed to get two seats each under CSM6."
This begs the question what does happen in Goonswarm if someone other than The Mittani wants to be in the CSM. Well thanks to the courage of Trabzz, we now know. The other candidates supporters are effectively shut out of the perks of the Goonswarm.

For further conformation of the utter contempt being shown by the leadership of the Goonswarm to the CSM and the idea of a democratic election, we look to The Mittani himself.
The Mittani wrote:
Most of the extra votes in the initial 3 days of voting seem to have come from blocs, who are even more engaged this time than they were in CSM6. We're seeing 30% more voting from GSF alone. The rest of EVE hasn't woken up to the importance of the CSM; their loss.

How does he know that Goonswarm Federation are voting 30% more than last year if they are not using methods like screen captures to check on the votes of their fellow Goons.

In Tebor Daehdoow's post he states "Bloc-candidates are those who are running as the official candidate of a large alliance or coalition of alliances. The bloc-candidates in this election are Greene Lee (-A-), Dovinian (TEST), UAxDEATH (Legion of xXDEATHXx), Elise Randolph (PL/RaidenDOT/NCDOT), Kelduum Revaan (EVE University -- also a Special Case, see below), and of course, The Mittani (Goonswarm)."
Are the other blocs doing the same extortion on their members, this we may never know unless more couragous people like Trabzz step forward.

With the removal of the alt and mains catagories there is now no difference between any of the positions and the power they wield. True only the top 7 get the trip to Iceland for summits now. So why would The Mittani be fighting so hard and using tactics like those exposed by Trabzz. One simple word "Hubris". He is the CEO of Goonswarm, he is called a King or Emporer.

He wants to be the Chairman of CSM 7 as he was for CSM6. Other dirty tricks of the Goonswarm have come to light with this CSM election.

Part 2

Due to some of the Goonswarms claims that I use fancy words and long definitions,

Hubris
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hubris, also hybris, means extreme haughtiness, pride or arrogance. Hubris often indicates a loss of contact with reality and an overestimation of one's own competence or capabilities, especially when the person exhibiting it is in a position of power.

With a statement like:
The Mittani wrote:

Last year, I vowed that I would transform the CSM from a powerless council wracked by ignorance and infighting into a powerful tool of player advocacy. At the time, this was seen as a bold - if not impossible - claim; the CSM had been essentially useless over the years, save for getting a skill queue added. Each election cycle, candidates would promise the moon and stars, and none delivered.

But I did.

He definitely has an overestimation of his own competence or capabilities. The Mittani wasn't the only person on CSM6 but if you listened to him you would believe he was.

In Tebor Daehdoow's post he claims "One of the classic techniques used by bloc-candidate supporters to get people to waste votes is to engage in a massive trolling attack to generate both a huge thread and sympathy votes. This is probably happening in the campaign thread of Issler Dainze."
As I write this Issler's CSM7 thread is 618 replies long and has a massive 23,840 views. Is it packed full of Goonswarm drivel? Well frankly yes.

Issler Dainze is an excellent candidate who has stood for the same things for many years, not being part of the Bloc crowd has found it hard for her to get back into the CSM. She stands for

I am announcin I will be running and organizing the "Rational Party of Eve". Let me explain my plans and ask for your support.

The "Rational Party of Eve" intends to represent the following segments of the Eve population. Consider these the "planks" of the party.

Miners
Industrialists
Traders
Small Corps
Independent players
High Sec PvE
Casual Players
Ambulation

Basically folk that often are discarded as "carebears" but make up a huge portion of the Eve population. A group that has not had representatio for a long time in the CSM.

The point of Issler's most fixated on by the Goonswarm is Ambulation with comments like

Part 3

Most noticeably is the stand for miners they really need proper representation. In a recent blog by CCP Sreegs he states "As you are all aware the company has gone through a lot of changes in the recent months. Because of this there was a period of time where nobody had responsibility for handling the technology responsible for nuking botters."

Did the Chairman of CSM 6, The Mittani notice this...well that is unknown to be honest, but did he take any action. Well the answer is NO. This then leaves the question was this a simple omission or was it by design, either way the result was to allow bots to have months of economy destroying, profit making time.

The Mittani states on his CSM 7 page "The Crucible expansion reads like a laundry list of things that CSM6 fought for - an emphasis on iterative ship balance, Time Dilation, hybrid and Gallente fixes, supercap nerfs, and assault frigates."
This statement by it's self answers why the Goonswarm are using extortion and threats to get The Mittani to the CSM Chairman possition with any means possible. They want to fix things for themselves, while they hide in their caves in 0.0 space with the majority of Goonswarm never having had contact with normal eve society.
As point out by the Mittani :
The Mittani wrote:

"The experience of a new Goonswarm player is radically different from that of the EVE-born. They are attracted to EVE by the megathread in the MMO subforum of SA; when they install the game they are an extension of an existing community - most have friends already in Goonswarm that they know from other games. Rather than learning the basics alone in hisec, on their first day newbie goons podjump to deep nullsec. There, they are surrounded by their fellows, ushered into massive alliance warfleets, mentored by veteran players, and showered with isk and ships."
source: http://www.tentonhammer.com/node/228886/page/2

I must once again point to a comment by Tebor Daehdoow for a way forward from these dirty politics used by Goonswarm.
Tebor Daehdoow wrote:

I have been pushing CCP to reform the election mechanic since right after the last election, but they did not want to introduce too many changes this time around. I would like to see an open discussion with the community about this topic, culminating in changes for the next election.

So in closing I must one again and still ask for the suspension of The Mittani's Candidicy for the CSM, until these claims can be properly investigated.
