Hey guys Im pretty new to eve and was wondering if anyone could giveme some info about wormholes. Im looking at getting into a tangu and starting to make some isk off wormholes. Was just curious if anyone had any great links to a list of skills i should train and info about running wormholes. TY

your bible. It wont necessarily tell you a path how to get there, but it will be invaluable as a reference.

But, in terms of doing wormholes, ive only done them as a team, not solo, so i cant help you out too much there. Generally speaking though know that what you send in is a huge risk. Tengu's are very very expencive as well, so perhaps start with a more manageable ship...

Oh, and lastly, cloaky exploration is appealing, but ultimately not the best way to go. Cloaky makes your DPS so low that any scansite is going to take forever... longer your in there for the more dangerous it is. Plus once engaged you cant re-cloak, leaving you very VERY vulnerable to someone killing you. At least thats my experience.

I would sugest the best thing to do if your not very experianced is to find a wormhole corp. There are plenty around and working as a team mitigates the risk alot as well.

OP: you could also google for "Islands Among the Stars: A Guide to everything Wormhole" it's a free pdf of 66 pages.

Solo Wyrmhole exploraition:

Don't start with that Tengu, I started with a Buzzard, Drake combo, if I felt lucky and the Wormhole looked stable enough I went salvaging in a destroyer as well.

It's fun but dangerous, Focus on the hacking and mach site first, they can be done fast, when the cans are empty the site will be harder to find, because they have to find your ship, mark a wreck and loot it.

I'm not sure how new you are though I managed to pull 50 million isk loot/salvage runs, as a rather unexperienced pilot

Lost a Drake now and then though the ballance tipped in my favor, learned a lot and had lots of fun.

Not the most effective way of gaining ISK, but one of the most fun ways.

Just beware you don't get to greedy that will kill you.

D-scan is your friend.

never forget to bookmark your entrance

Never enter with a ship without a proba launcher and probes, or bookmark several exits before entering with ships that can't scan their way out.
