Here is my first Eve video.
Inspired by the "Bringing Solo Back" podcast by Kil2 (my corp leader) & Kovorix, and by Prom's awesome cruiser videos.

A few weeks ago I started trying solo PvP for the first time.
I fly in small gang fleets often, but solo proved to require a very different set of skills, that I'm slowly learning.

This represents my success and failures so far, and efforts in general.
In the video I try to share as many tips and lessons that I've learned to this point.
I kind of made it with the intention of... that the more veteran and pro players who will watch this movie, could pass it along to newer member of their corps for example. To people that are getting started in PvP and solo in particular, to whom I hope it can be of some help. And to serve as a motivational boost, and proof, that solo roaming T1 cruisers can be a lot of fun, and good learning experience while you're dying a lot in really cheap fits.

Ships: Rupture, Vexor and Bellicose.
All solo, no scouts, no alts, no (ISK for) implants hehe. I do use an Exile pill for the Vexor in some of the fights.
Some fun fights with pirates, Rupture vs ships like Vaga, and Tornado.

A strong emphasis on lowsec solo, in the form of trying to separate pirate gangs, and get GCC working for you as much as possible. As well as some cheap fitting suggestions (all the passive mods are showing always). I try to point out my mistakes as well during fights.

The quality of the overall 'production' is not up to par with the pro videos that I watch here all the time. No special effects or that stuff yet, perhaps in the next video :-) I have a lot of respect for everyone that creates videos and I understand (better now) how much hard work it takes to produce a good video.

I know I have a lot of things I need to work at, like using correct type of ammo for what fights, and at what range to engage specific ships, fitting skills, and overall piloting :-)
Having lots of fun learning by going out there and finding fights. And as long as I'm having fun I'm sure I'll keep improving.

I already wrote some of this in an ingame mail to you. Really enjoyed your video, for the reason that you're having fun and learning while being ballsy and not minding deaths. I learned the same way when I started PvP'ing.

Obviously you made mistakes which you'll learn to avoid when you get more experienced. Engaging my Naga with your Shield Rupture was actually a pretty foregone conclusion (I wasn't even expecting you to go for me and was setting up a 1 vs 1 with the Tornado on grid - you engaging me was actually quite a surprise).

I'm always up for a duo roam if I have time. Keep doing what you're doing.

I was shocked when I saw that 32min at the end of the video. Time went by so fast. Your music taste is awesome too.
That blackbird footage was funny beyond measure =D

Nice first video.

Next time though you should speed up your footage to at least 2x. Finding the right speed to play footage in a video (not too slow and not too fast) greatly enhances its watchability.
