CCP already took care of that for us. It's called Captain's Quarters and NEX shop.

People were constantly telling me I was crazy. For a long time I didn't believe them, but after a while, I started to think they might be right.

But it turns out that they were all wrong. One of the voices in my head is a psychiatrist and he says I'm perfectly sane.

Great, so it's just basic ineptitude then.

Goons; infiltration at its best - first bob... now ccp itself. They dont realize you guys dot take this as "just a game". Bring it down guys, we're rooting for you.

I think Jade went a little hyperbolic on his post here. While I agree with some of the points made, he took them a bit too far. When is the "dislike" button going to be implemented CCP?

I'm not entirely happy with this meeting or the resultant minutes though. But it does demonstrate CCP's inability to "get it" at times.

The CSM generally agreed that from a purely technical standpoint, Incarna had generally been a very successful expansion. Apart from the usual and expected hiccups, the deployment of the software was very smooth.

Stopped reading there. Is this supposed to be funny, or something?

The minutes were modified by CCP

Id like to see Mittans comment on this further or is this NDA stuff too?

Yo mittens, you wanna make an impact right? Heres your in-road. Prove to us youre not full of hot air

Wow that was... exceedingly underwhelming.
I guess that's the problem with delaying PR hogwash like this for three months - it hits home as an entirely new volley after things finally have calmed down a bit.

Dear CSM: I can understand you are happy the minutes are finally out, so people finally stop asking for them. But please, PLEASE don't make it sound like you are content with the minutes themselves. That really gives me the blues.

That said, now I really want to see the original CSM-version of the minutes and, probably even more, the original CCP-version with all the unmitigated PR-hogwash you had to fight down. Really, even more PR hogwash?

[Edit:] Actually, let me retract my statements, because I just realized I didn't read White Tree's OP about it.
After reading that, all I can say is:

So what you are telling us basically is, since this is the "more or less completely un-doctored and exactly how it was supposed to be" version, what we get to read in there is actually not CCP's PR hogwash but the CSM's PR hogwash?
You've got to be kidding me.
[ ] yes
[ ] no
[ ] maybe?

[edit 2] Alright. After reading Jester's blog about the minutes, I get what you did there. Sorry for flying off the handle. Could you, next time, please tell us in advance if you are going to do something like this? Thank you.

*blinks* that was IT?! Really, 3 months of back and fourth over that.

I must say I am a bit underwhelmed but glad it finally got released AND in a form the CSM approved of.

Funny how everybody seems to take the CSM side regarding the minutes.

Ever thought that the delay was down to the CSM wanting the minutes to make them look like heros and the CCP the villan?

CSM minutes June 2011 wrote:
Both before and during the meeting the CSM also expressed their desire for the return of ship spinning, as spinning the ship in station is a meaningful part of the game experience to many players. To address both this issue and performance concerns, CCP offered to implement an environment that would be similar in look and function to the old hangar view, and would include ship spinning. It should be noted that the old hangar view itself will not be returning, but something similar will take its place. The CSM will be kept informed throughout the design of this feature. The option to disable the loading of station environments will be retained until this matter has been addressed.

Was it really that difficult to negotiate some kind of a schedule out of CCP??? I mean, anyone who's been involved with this game for longer then a couple of months understands that this kind of statement is completely worthless without a schedule (ok, sure it's still mostly worthless with a schedule, but still better). Even something like "this year", or "within a year" would have been better.

Damn.
