Hey guys, just a few loadout queries on pve thoraxes and burtixaxes.

I started out Eve about a month ago, was mostly amaar specced for the first few weeks, now making a change to Gallente. I'm training drone skills now but it's still a ways to go until they really unlock the potential of the vexor/myrmidon popular mission fits , still on Drone 4 and Combat Drone - 3, which is pretty low compared to my gunnery skills which are all fairly high.

So I think I need a good fit for a Thorax doing level two missons and perhaps low-sec ratting/anomalies for the next few weeks until Battlecruisers, and from there a decent Brutix fit would be nice also but if my drones are all skilled up by then then obviously the Myrmidon will be the pve fit of choice though I'll still be using the Brutix in RvB brawling.

This is a super low skills -template, so you should upgrade whatever your skills allow (especially consider replacing the cap rigs/modules with something useful as soon as you get better cap skills):

Same principles apply to general PvE Brutix, Medium armor repper(s), rat-specific hardeners and rails with AB for cap stability. On the other hand, maybe you want to work it a bit more; nothing stops from flying either with MWD+blasters and a cap booster. Perhaps not as efficient for PvE, but might be good for practicing.

Thanks Roime, I'll try out that setup.

Also, I've got my drones to 4/combat drones 4 atm. Should I continue all the way for tech two hobgobs and hammerheads, all should I get small hybrid spec and then medium hybrid spec for the tech two hybrid turrets.

Get tech 2 drones first before T2 guns. It's quicker to skill up and will make noticeable difference when dealing with frigs.
