The best part of reproc assisted mining for T1 minerals is, you can't really bot the process. CCP might want to think about reversing the level 4 mission loot nerf though.

And that's the problem here. The loot nerf hasn't been reversed. Hence, mission loot and all that other stuff isn't the flood of zydrine that you think it is.

Quite possibly... alot of people will dump stock (please do !) and effectively burn themselves for not being patient.

As others have said, vast fortunes in EVE are rarely made "overnight".

If anything, don't be too surprised to see the loot drops (in missions) gradually reduced a few more "notches"... and that won't just affect Zydrine, either.

Indeed, mission loot should only be a source of two (2) things: Named T1 mods and salvage for the "rigs" industry -- but not a minerals "industry" unto itself.

Afterall -- CCP wants to encourage mining, so squeezing off the non-asteroid sources of minerals is not only necessary but logical.

So, go home tonight and make love to your darling Zydrine... fondle it... cherish it... make it ... your PRECIOUS. P

The problem is not that drone loot is a source of minerals, the problem is that it is too big a percentage as a source of minerals, which has depressed mineral values too much and marginalized mining as a career choice. What CCP could also do is change reprocessing to rely more heavily on the Scrapmetal Processing skill rather then making it so easy to get 99.5% of your minerals back with just Refine V and Refine Eff V. Maybe the reprocessing skill needs to be nerfed slightly so that you you need Refine V + Refine Eff V + Scrapmetal Processing IV in order to get 100% at a 50% refinery. Which would probably push down the amount you get back by 5-10% across the board.

changing refineries to 40% would hit the miners as hard as the mission runners. although max skilled miners that have mineral skills at 4 should still have no problem getting 100% refine at a 40% station.Hell with max refining and mineral skills you can get very close to 100% at a 35% refinery.
changing the base refine at high sec stations would certainly increase the value of all minerals. I would say 45% rather than 40% as the minimum is 35% but it could work.
The real issue though is increased mineral costs increase the cost of everything made from those minerals causing significant inflation in the game economy. However as the bounties would be unaffected it would serve to level the field somewhat making mining a more appealing profession.

It'll go back up. I did a little playing around with that market about an hour and half ago. Raised the prices by about 200 isk/ea and then cashed out. Made a healthy little chunk of ISK for so little time.

Zydrine should easily clear 2,500 ISK and should peak around 4,000 - 5,000 ISK


The peak price will depend on how much Zydrine is held by speculators.
