The time you spend training up CCU5, could just as easily be spent training up PI skills on an alt on the same account.

(The only viable reason I've seen for training CCU5 is for some factory planet setups where you get another 20% production out of a CCU5 planet over a CCU4 planet. Even then, you could double your production capabilities by training up an alt to setup another 5 planets.)
