Module, function, mission or something else?


For me it really comes down to some core functions CCP introduced.

GTC/PLEXes - oh man! Best invention EVER, and also the reason why I got so many accounts (so maybe it's a bad thing?) - Playing for free using in-game money keeps at least me playing as I wouldn't have spent real money on the game in that way. Altho I would like to see the old 90 day GTC prices back... wayyyyy cheaper than today's PLEX prices.

The character API, without it - gimped by far in terms of keeping track of my characters.

Having been around a bit, the skill queue is really an awesome addition to the game, I could almost live without it (I remember setting the alarm back in the days to wake up at 3am to switch a new skill - nice memory) but really would prefer not to go back to the middle-of-the-night-alarms again.


And finally, the history that all you awesome pilots create, the battles you fight and the stories you tell, you all truly make this an amazing game and experience.

Actually I enjoyed differently everything I've done so far in the game.

Some experiences are deceiving but always good experiences that deserve you to give it a try:

-gallente/hybrids are painful as hell for a newb, incredibly subpar before capital for everything until you get very strong, not to say perfect navigation/core/gunnery skills.
The good stuff with is that NOW you got open open the magic window to the cross training box of Pandora from where you see Machariels Vindicators Rattlesnakes Cynabals Vigilants GIlas Worms Daredevils Dramiels pop all the time and never stops poping because you got addict !!

I enjoy building stuff and then blow it, do I got a Kill or not? I don't care, my canes and drakes are freacking cheap for me
I enjoy also missioning some times mining in groups it can be hilarious.
Explore is tedious but sometimes very rewarding
Forums too, I love to play this forum alt and forum games, it's just awesome.

Corpmates.

No ship, module, l337 alt or devhax can substitute for flying among purple dots. A good pilot by your side is simply priceless.

Overall sandbox nature and an un-sharded world

Without that, this game would be too terrible to rationalize existing.

Megathrons

This! I've played other, smaller MMO's that were pretty much a grindfest if you wanted to become good at anything. Every time some dunce comes up with a whine about why they can't grind for skills I feel like posting a pic of my fist and asking the poster to run into the screen.

The other thing that makes this game special for me is that it doesn't reward stupidity like some games, if you're make a mistake you often pay for it. Usually there's no running to mummy in EVE.

Neutron Blaster Cannon II. Seriously since the buff they are my favourate pew device. Strap 8 of them to a Talos and it's roger ape in an invuln field.
