I was watching a Semi truck hauling 3 trailers and wondering... what if a freighter could slave two more freighters behind it (without requiring 2 more accounts and pilots)? I realize that some folks are thinking "Triple Gank Gate Prizes!", but those that scout ahead and such could reap the reward of larger hauling capacity safely. I'm sure it'd need to be tied to a skill to train up.

Are you referring to something like the Iteron series of industrial haulers do? But as an actual ability for other ships? Perhaps there could be fittings that would allow the attachment of extra storage space on specific points of the ships. Most ships you can't just add stuff on to the end due to thrusters been there. Give it penalties as normal. It can then haul more, costs a lot more to get, and is a bigger target, with less chance of escaping an attack.

Nail the front one with a gank, and you've got yourself all of the trailer ships, intact, for free.

I like that idea.
