Those arwe sweet.
Like the missile hard points on the Hurricane. Shows open and closed. Now why don't they add that effect like they did for guns?

The only thing Google was able to find (via similar image search) was the original thread where those images show up: http://www.eve-search.com/thread/1231938/page/1. Their creator is not credited.

I wondered if it was CCP. Otherwise yeah I cannot find any credited creator. Really like to know if there are more or hi-res versions of these.

Would make great t-shirt or something.

That is so cool. CCP should design a more accurate canon version for their Ships.

I'd really like to see someone form CCP make these for every ship.

Lack of blue flag on this makes me think these are nothing to do with CCP but it would be really good to see more of these.

I think diagrams like this help with both the rp/law of the ships and also help realize their scale.

*shouts in hope of being heard by CCP web admin*... Be an amazing addition to the really nice ship-spinner on the website.

These blueprints would imply that the pilot is out of their pod while in the ship. It hought this was false due to previous "Eve Fiction" stories. I have read before that there is no "bridge" or windows or anything.

This also implies there are crew members working on board the ships??

FC, what do?

Most ships are not piloted by capsuleers. I imagine shipyards would construct all ships with a bridge (typically protected deep within the ship, because windows in space are silly. There was a passage in Templar One about this). The pod bay, and the systems integration required for capsuleer control, would likely be an expensive add-on.

Anyway, yes, most ships require a significant number of crewmen. Capsuleer-piloted ships have fewer, but still require a skeleton crew to operate. Here are what I believe to be the official statistics. It's an interesting read in any case.

Crew do work on the ships, a handful on frigs/destroyers and thousands on BS and caps.

No idea on creator though, found these piccies a while back.

If there is a chance the crew or a portion of the crew can survive after the ship goes boom then they should be able to be salvaged or looted.
Also brings up the idea of having to equip your ships with a crew. Number of crew depending on your skill level in that ship class. Higher level less crew required.

Where do you think that other half of your Platinum Insurance goes? Part of it likely goes to the families.

I might be able to shed some light on this.

Here's the Impoc Schematic I made to go with my ancient library stories. Some folks liked the look of it, and followed up with the Hurricane and Myrm blueprints. As far as I know, those three are the only images made in that fashion.

Both blue prints have a "capsule support" area. So I'm not so sure it does suggest that the pilot is out of pod?
