At the moment... 3/10, but thats because I'm isk farming and setting up a supply chain to fund my fun.

When out pew pewing, it's a 6-7/10 most of the time, with it very rarely reaching 9/10 if I by some act of God I run into someone not in a 20+ man gang/blob to shoot at.

This is a problem I used to have. I used tp roam with one or two friends and we would constantly run into blobs. We got pretty good at avoid them, but eventually we got a little fed up with these blobs and it dawned on us that if we don't expand our network of friends we aren't going to get far in this game. Forming a corp was easy, joining an alliance was fairly easy too. Convincing 40 people to smash a blockade was extremely tough and the amount of times we've been able to pull it of I can only count on one hand.

Right, when I think about it, it's hard to remember much fun in EVE. Only when I first started the game and everything was new. And the few PVP fights I've done were great fun. The rest is, honestly, kind of like work. For instance, looking up data, solving problems, doing drudge work like shuttling loads of minerals or grinding for faction standings. TBH, sometimes after a day of solving problems all day at work, I don't even want to look at EVE. But I've never seen another MMO that even compares as far as depth and challenges go.
