Good idea, we should have better bios it self, maybe expanded bio, with multi labels - tabs even somthing like bio with own tree - sending people to another part of bio where people want share information etc.

Our actual bios are to small, i dont plan to write epic long poems or any wall of spam, but would be nice to pack in one place multiple importand helpful informationsm, like damage type, security status restrictions, scaner range etc.

If it bleed we can kill it.

If we had an in game common info/ help window with easy access and a neocom button for new players allowing easy access to that info It would be great. Using bios to hold game info is not good game design

Evelopedia access to those items is still to far: its got to be two clicks max and and not requre a search to see that info after you find it the first time. Bookmarking a page does not work, pages in the evelopedia are not favoritable both are to far away from where you need them.

If i am going to do a search i google the mission more info for less time.

If i dont know something about EVE. I check https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/ISK_The_Guide

The "dragging blueprints into quickbar" feature is almost totally awesome.
It would be uber totally awesome if you would allow shift dragging BPOs from the search tab over, so you dont have to have the actual bpo in your pocket you are looking to buy parts for.
Otherwise the feature is only nice, but not usefull for me sadly, as my shopping is done by a different character then the one who puts the stuff together and just buying the bpo twice might be usefull to the economy, but not to my personal wallet Lol

Dragging the BPOs from search into chat is already working nicely, so hopefully that extra shift drag is peanuts for you to do! :-)

Keep up to good UI changes, they are truely awesome!

I have a feeling that soon double clicking an order will not open the "show info" windowBlink
"Feeling"? "Soon"? "Wink"? You are such a tease. Smile

Then I think it is uber totally awesome, because it does not only work when you drag the item to your quickbar, but also if you hold down shift as you click on the "add to quickbar" menu option on the blueprint. Big smile
I am not sure if dragging stuff to the quickbar tab itself works, but if it does't, I'll change it so it does (although, probably not before Crucible 1.5)

oh! uber total awesomeness already, nice!!! Shift-Dragging was my "natural way" of trying it from search (which does not work on sisi atm, I just tried), but rightclickmenu.shiftclick-addto is more then enough for me now that I know that, thank you!!!!!

Just out of completness you should let it on your things todo list for 1.5 then.

Hmm... yes.... feels mystery...
Actually after you write that i wasn't happy because it can mean, that marketers will not have easier life then they has now.
Nothing comes to mind what could appear after clicking market order - if not modify order and info window, than what that could be useful?

Will that make marketers life easier?

Well, it's certainly meant to make marketers life easier, and a few of you have been asking for it (hint: it has something to do with detailsP)
I don't want to say too much because this *might* have been ninjaed in yesterday and my boss *might* be reading this thread PBlink

I have not looked that well into this so I cannot say for sure, but I don't think it's trivial to change this... but let me look into it and get back to you Smile

Well, I have to believe that you will remember about that ^^"

I'll try... there is now a post-it on my monitor to remind me P

If you ever run out of postits, i can send you some supplies, like a truck full of it. Also, offloading the tremendous load of writing them, i can simply fill all of them with little things, so you don't have to look for them, just do them. And maybe some bonus cookes ;)

Oh! BTW! Now we must copy the player name from transaction row and search for it manually. Would be cool to add option 'show player info' under submenu when you click transaction in wallet->transactions.

I don't know... is that something you think people want?

Yes, definitely. We often have to check out the peer of the transaction and it's a pain at the moment. If you have a few minutes for this feature, this would be awesome. It'd allow us to play more, instead of doing workarounds for missing features :)

We don't mind that :p Im sure your boss will not find out :D
Being ninja is not easy.

After i red this i did THAT
I mean that from the beginning lol! Have no idea why i wrote only about fixing order ^^

But still I think there should be shortcut for fix market order :]
Quote:
Click == Details;
Shift+Click == Modify;

Plz! plz! plz! plz!

U could go further. There is always such route: view & modify (or only view if no neet to modify). Never had to modify without viewing.
So maybe using 'modify order' option should open the modify window & open this item market window. BUMP! This would make our life extremely easy :D
ONE CLICK PER ORDER!

Hey \o/ I'm over here!

Turns out there were other programmers ninja-ing stuff in for the release next week as well, with CCP karkur being the most prolific one followed by CCP Aporia. I better start figuring out how this can be deployed in the release...

Begun the version control wars have.
Will the Ninjas survive in a world where every commit has a name attached to it? Or will bow to the will of the all seeing eye?

Also less inconsistency in the ui is nice.

Despite being a coder/designer myself I have to say that my heart bleeds for the QA's having to deal with the coder ninja wars ;)

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

thanks a bunch for opening the scope of your improvements to all areas of the game - some of the things brought up here never occured to me, but now knowing they are being changed I don't see how we ever lived without them.

since this thread is getting a lot of dev-love, i'll toss one thing out that I've seen ~5 times in the past week.. when using core/ scanner probes, the timer that counts down the duration of your scan job has a seconds remaining count-down number in the scanner window. i've noticed that 'seconds remaining' number appearing half-in and half-out of the visible count-down bar. if this is a new observation, i can try to reproduce and submit a bug report, so just FYI if you haven't already seen this one on some UI improvement list.
